During winter when there is nothing to do, you must go see the Amerks play some hockey. There is always a big crowd, lots of excitement, and great food. Tickets are available ahead of time, or at the door. The games are in the Blue Cross Arena, which is right downtown, and easy to get to. The fans that come are of all ages.... from little kids to grandma and grandpa... and they are all pretty faithful and devoted to their team, so it is always exciting and entertaining. Going to a game is great for a family night out, or a date, or anytime you are bored.
