I had a great experience with rivertown ford. My husband and I were actually there repairing his truck when we saw a jetta that we loved. The salesmen were very attentive and helpful. They got my trade in value for my ford fiesta, approval, and my new keys in a couple of short hours. Best car buying experience I've had yet. Sales people were friendly and didnt try too hard to get a sale. Ask for Richard shue! more

Great Truck 9/19/2011

Arrived at Rivertown on thursday morning. Dealership was staff greeted me in a timely manner. I wanted to trade my Toyota Tundra in on new F150 Ecoboost engine. If you havent seen the videos about the torture test they put this engine thru you should watch before buying. That's what sold me on trading. Im now getting about 40% better gas mileage. Filling up about every other week instead of every week. The on screen MPG's does not seem to reflec actuall MPG's. I average 5-7 mpgs better than what the truck says. The transmission has a hard shift at low speeds. I knew this was normal when I bought the truck and I also knew that hard shift is natural for a truck tuned into high mpg's, high towing, most payload. Plus a hard shift means there is no play in transmission and it will not wear out as fast. I will definately do business with ford and Rivertown ford again. more

Rivertown Ford is Five Star 9/27/2009

Great buying experience. I heard Brad say on the radio he wanted to buy trades even if you didnt buy from him. So, i gave him a chance. He bought my trade for more than the dealer across the street offered me for a trade. 3 weeks later I bought a new F150...Good Job RIvertown. more

BAD experience 9/24/2009

Bought my 2 yr old Ford Explorer, last Fall, not too bad of an experience in the sale, but when I pointed out that the 2 front tires were a different brand than then the 2 back tires, I just wanted them to match, the salesman, must have thought I didnt know anything, told me " thats the way Ford designed them so you have 2 different brands so you get to see which wear's better" Honest to goodness. ...They changed the tires to match, but the really bad experience was in the service. $ months after purchase, at 53,000 miles the engin blew up, a rocker spring broke and went into the engine. New engine was $5,700.00 and Ford would not cover any of it. I now drive a BMW! more

The worst dealer I've been to. 12/12/2008

I brought my year old mustang in for the power steering and the rack and pinion to be changed. Told the service lady I would be waiting. 9 hours later the tech comes up and tells me sorry if he had known I was waiting he would have been quicker and maybe worked through lunch!! Everyone is rude including the parts people. Drove the car three feet and was still making the same noise, tech came out and said "oh it's still making noise isn't it?" Like he knew but was going to wait till I came back the with problem. Awful Awful service, not a dealership I will go back to ever. more

BAD SALESMAN TOWARD ARMY VET. 12/1/2008

I probably had the worst experience with them than any of the dealerships here in Columbus, I am a wounded soldier from IRAQ and I was ready to buy a new car I shopped around w/ my wife and at the time they did have good prices on there mustangs but when i got out of my truck and was on crutches the salesman looked at me and said " oh man your a cripple" so i took my wife and got back in the truck and left. Now that is not something you should say to someone that is looking to buy a car nor to a soldier that got injured really bad while serving his country. Get more respectable salesman and have a little more respect toward the people who lay there life on the line for you so you can sleep easy at night. more

Service Department 8/19/2008

We had a break down while in Columbus for a military graduation. We had the car towed immediately to Rivertown. We were told that there was no way they could even look at the car that day (this was at 10:30am). So we had to wait till mid morning the next day to even find out the problem and then wait another day for them to get the parts in. Front staff was helpful in the end but they could have taken 15 minutes sometime the first day to hook up the car to the computer to determine the problem so parts could have been ordered. Not friendly to out of town Ford owners. more

EXCELLENT! FIVE STARS! 3/14/2008

Brad went out of his way to make the purchase experience top notch. We had no intention of buying on out first day but after the driving the vehicle and seeing how easy Rivertown made the buying experience, we drove off in a new Edge! more
