I was at River Oaks for a few months and my best advice is, do yourself a favor and stay away! Metric Properties is a big crook. The lease they have you sign protects them from any legal action you might want to take later. It's about 20 pages long and while the staff will be nice and friendly they are only doing that to take your money. Keep your street smarts around you and remember that things aren't always as they seem. I was cheated out of at least a month's worth of rent by Metric Properties, and then was unable to take the company to court due to the lease I had signed. \r \r Don't make the mistake I did by renting from River Oaks. more

STAY AWAY 7/26/2005

These apartments are nice looking but they are over priced and the management for htis place sucks. Our AC was CONSTANTLY going out and theyd do some quick fix and 2 weeks later it was out again. our dishwasher started leaking and it took 3 weeks to get someone to fix it. Once our lease was up it took them 2 months to get us our deposit back and that was only after calling every day more
