Ridgewood Auto Wash

I frequent Ridgewood Auto Wash about 3 times a month for my two cars. Today, I was brining in my car for the weekly wash and I notice an abandoned car at the beginning of the car wash line and with 3 lengths of car gap in front. I am in the street waiting to turn in so I honk….I honk again….and then again. Nothing. I don’t want to hold up traffic so I pull around the car (and so does another customer). All the sudden one of their employees comes to my car and aggressively gets in my face. I told him I was honking and it looked like someone had abandoned the car. He leaves, moves the abandoned car and then gets in my face again. I feel uncomfortable so I leave the line while he moves another car into the staging lane. All in all, I spend about $1,500/year with this company and I was treated like garbage today. Well, I won’t be going there anytime soon. I’ll go to Ho-Ho-Kus Hand Wash from now on. I also used to do my oil changes there. That business will go elsewhere as well. I have no need to be threatened when I am trying to conduct business more

In addition to their car wash business, Ridgewood Auto Wash also runs an oil change business. I have done many oil changes there over the years and in the past they have not tried to pad the bill with unnecessary services. That changed the last time I went - They told me my engine oil was dirty and that I needed an engine flush. Unfortunately, I fell for the scam and paid $60 for a totally unnecessary service. My car has less than 50k miles on it. I will not be doing any more oil changes here.\r \r The car wash is fine. more

I am new to the Ridgewood/Glen Rock area and was in need of an interior/exterior wash. This was my first time visiting this dealership and it was advertised that the ultimate wash would include an interior vacuum and wipe down as well as an exterior wash. Upon entering my car once they concluded they were finished, I had to drive home and perform my own wipe down of the cup holder and stereo area as no wipe down had been done, and no vacuum job had been done either. I got this wash during the broad daylight so I did not realize until 7 hours later, this evening, upon going out to my garage, that they had also flipped my parking lights on and left them on. This is a despicable car wash and I hope to find a better one in the area for next time. more

Ridgewood Car wash is the place to go in this area for a good car wash. It is a decent place to go but it can be ridiculously expensive. I think because it has the name Ridgewood (even though technically it is in Glen Rock) in it they charge even more. You can get some coupons in the Valpak coupons that are sent to homes in the mail. But, the coupons are not that impressive. I do go here occasionally- because they do a pretty decent job and they vacuum and wipe the car down. I have also gotten my car detailed here in the past and they do a very good job with that. The car seemed like brand new. They also have coupons for this as well. The lines for the car wash can get pretty long- especially on the weekends. Overall a good place but pretty expensive. And typical Ridgewood- I mean, there is even an gourmet coffee and smoothie counter inside now for while you wait for your car. more
