The Laser is Great 3/8/2013

I've known Dr Richman for a long time. My family has been taking our dogs and cats to him for over 15 years. I finished school and moved out and was able to take Sam with me. We run together in Euclid Creek and North Chagrin a few times a week whenever the weather permits. A few months ago Sam started having a hard time finishing our runs and was slow to move around the next day. I took him in and Dr Richman examined him and started me on some medicine right away. I bought Sam back a week later and dr Richman took some xrays and found arthritis in his back, A lot. Dr Richman gave me some things to read and we got to work making Sam feel better. Treats for his joints, pills for his pain, shots and finally the laser. It was pretty neat being able to stay with Sam while Dr Richman and his tech Robin used the laser on Sam's back. He's feeling much better and we started going for short runs but long walks. I couldn't be happier with the care Sam and I received from Dr Richman. Sometimes you more

Dr. Richman is the best vet by far. I've been taking my dogs here for a few years now. Amazing staff, very professional, and always honest. The clinic is very clean and odor-free. Dr. Richman spends time with my dogs in the exam room and doesn't take them ""in the back"" like my previous vet. He always has time to answer my questions. I am also signed up for newsletters from Richman Animal Clinic that come in my email every month. more

Richman animal clinic is overpriced. If you call around and compare with other vets in the area, you'll see that they are more expensive. They are out to make a large profit and don't really care about your pet. Sorry to say. more

Wonderful Place! 8/1/2011

I couldn't be more pleased with Dr.Richman and the entire staff at Richman Animal Clinic. You are greeted with smiles and very friendly girls who work the front desk. Their phone etiquette is superior to any other place I've ever called. They handle my questions, scheduling,etc with care, concern and kindness. I am impressed with how well they all work together. \r \r Dr. Richman takes his time with you and your pet. During my first visit, he spent a lot of time giving me information to help me get started on the right foot with my new puppy. You can tell that Dr. Richman is a "on top of things" type of guy. He remembers what you tell him, when you called the office last and is so very friendly and informative. The guy truly loves his job and this is evident. I was shocked when they called me a few days after my visit to ask me how my dog was doing. I am blessed to have found such a great vet and place for my doggy. more

A Vet You Can Trust 12/5/2010

Dr Richman has been taking care of my dogs for about two years now. I am very satisfied with the care my guys get and with the way Dr Richman does things. It's really a pleasure to see someone who really enjoys his work and who's main concern is not the dollar but the pets. That is important to me and it should be to every pet owner especially compared to some of the Vets around this area. I have recommended Dr Richman to my friends and family and to any pet owner that wants great care and a little humor during the visits. more

Highly Recommended 11/7/2010

Had my secong visit with my dog Uri this past week. Dr Richman helped us when I was very nervous about the continued health of my dog. Uri seems to get sick and into trouble a lot. Dr Richman explained his findings on his exam, ran some tests and laid out a plan for us to get Uri feeling better, He gave me things to do at home and things to stop doing as well. The second visit we were all more relaxed and comfortable. Uri even wagged his tail a little. My dog has been through a lot but seemed to like Dr Richman's way with him. The receptionist and nurse were also nice, They even called us a few days after our visit to see how we were doing. No doctor has ever called us - ever, not even mine. The clinic is clean and even when busy, Dr Richman gave us all the time we needed. Uri and I have found a place that we like, the vet is smart and made him better. I strongly recommend Dr Richman to anyone who really loves their pet. more

No where else 9/4/2010

Dr Richman really helped my hunting buddy. He came up lame and we had a trip planned. So I called up and they got me right in. I'd never met him before but always heard good things. Well Dr R fixed up Charlie pretty quick and explained a lot of things to me that my hunting buddies didn't know all with a sense of humor. Xrays, medicine and that new laser treatment had us hunting better than we have in years. Thanks doc. You're the one to go to. more

Top Notch Care for Your Baby 6/1/2010

Dr. Richman is "THE best"! He's humorous, honest and engaging! I bought a shihpoo as my first dog as an adult and I was literally clueless! From shampoos, to shots, to housebreaking to feeding. . . he added to the knowledge that I'd read in books and corrected me when the information didn't apply. The staff is friendly, the facility is VERY clean and I truly believe I've taken my furbaby to a great provider! more

Richman Animal Clinic is First Class 9/25/2009

If you are looking for a vet who treats your pet as if it were his own then you have found Dr. Jeffery Richman. We drive from Parma to Richmond Hts. because we believe in him. And we are only 2 blocks away from one vet and 7 blocks from another vet. Our golden retriever Giuseppe was diagnosed with arthritis and hip dysplasia and could barely walk. He toddled. We knew his time was running out after 11 years but wanted to try and make his last days more comfortable. So we sought out Dr. Richman and his laser treatment. Every time Giuseppe was treated he was able to walk more and not toddle. He loved being cradled in the arms of a staff member while Dr. Richman treated him. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Richman. He is kind, gentle, knowledgeable, empathetic,caring and completely honest with you regarding what he can or can not do for your pet. I can go on and on with the accolades but you need to experience his goodness for yourself. He is truly God's gift to the animals. I more

Wonderful vet! 3/24/2009

Dr Richman is terrific - I just moved from out of state, & he was able to see my older dog the same day I called for an appointment. He's attentive, easy to communicate with, very caring - I highly recommend him. Pros: Very caring, great with my older dog, pleasant to deal with more

Helped us 6/16/2008

Dr Richman really helped us with our dog last month. He treated Tonto for a chronic lameness problem which was misdiagnosed at two other animal hospitals nearby. A frien nfrom Ohio State's Veterinary School told me to check out Dr Richman & she was right. He is honest and straight forward. And best of all - Tonto is feeling a lot better. more

I've been to a lot of vets, and he's the best 6/9/2008

When I moved, I was looking for a place close by to take my 2 cats. Fortunately, my brother in law recommended Dr. Richman, who had been treating his pets for years. Dr. Richman is a meticulous, detail-oriented individual who the animal's best interests at heart. He is exacting about care, both from his staff and the owners of the pets. He always asks owners about the day-to-day details like feeding, grooming, etc, and recommends changes he thinks are necessary. \r \r Everything at the clinic is not only cutting-edge, but scrupulously clean. I give this clinic the highest recommendation. more

Professional, clean & competant 12/4/2007

Dr Richman has been taking care of my family's dogs for as long as I can remember. We have always trusted him with our dogs & he's always done a good job for us. It's one thing I don't have to worry about. A real straight shooter. A good guy, too. His assistants are all nice & my dogs seem to like them. They even board them when I have to travel out of town. I know Dr Richman has a lot of neat equipment & can even do some lab tests while you wait, my doctor has me call back in a week. My sisters & brother & 2 uncles all go here. If you knew us , you'd know how picky we are. We all are comfortable here & all our * dogs & 3 cats. Pros: clean, never smells, don't have to wait , nice assistants Cons: my ex-wife goes there, too more

Great cat doctor 11/30/2007

The vet at this hospital saved my cat when he couldn't go to the bathroom. Dr Richman worked very hard to save Lyman. I can't say enough good things about him & his nurses. Go to this place, don't go to any other vets. Pros: gentle & caring. very clean place more

So nice to me & my dogs. Staff is very friendly & Dr Richman is the greatest. Tells it like it is & then fixes the problem. New building in a nice location. Everything is clen & doesn't smell like an animal hospital. Pros: Made my dog better more

There is no other option. You HAVE to take your pet to Dr. Richlan. I had been seeing a different vet, and when I was unhappy with him, I asked around heard good things about this place. The first time I visited, I called for an emergency office visit. Never meeting me before, his staff got me in not only same day, but in about 20 minutes! They were booked solid, but queezed me in because my dog was in such misery. I got there and fell in love. Everyone was so nice, the place was spotless. They were so kind to my dog and to me. He did things for my dog that our old vet NEVER did in the four years we saw him. His whole staff was truly concerned about my dog, and he did everything to make me feel better about the way I was treating my dog for her condition. My dog is so much happier since we started seeing Dr. Richlan. Go there once and you'll be hooked for life. Promise! more

Really great Clinic 9/14/2006

Was initially referred from Ohio State when I moved. Great referral. Relaxed atmosphere, clean inside & out, very nice staff & really smart Vet. Had our blood tests done while we waited & explained things so I understood. My dog was very comfortable. Lots of handouts to explain complicated things. PROS: So clean, lots of parking, plenty of grass to walk your dog CONS: none more
