Love my neighborhood and my home 11/6/2009

I agree with KellyLR totally. We purchased a home in Lenox Village 4 1/2 years ago. The builder was wonderful. They went above and beyond. The sales staff was always helpful and answered any questions that we had. We have wonderful neighbors and love raising our family in this community. Pros: Wonderful neighbors, quality built home, very safe more

LOVE Everything! 4/30/2009

I am actually REALLY surprised with the bad reviews I have read. My experience has been nothing short of pleasant. Yes-there is a lot of construction going on, but if you purchased your home here, you must have known that it was ""pre-construction"". We moved here this past February from South Florida, and I must say that the sales team went above and beyond to help us. They actually went out of their way to help us on most occasions. The superintendent was wonderful and EVERYONE at the office has been so nice. In the past 6 months that I have lived here, I made it a point to meet as many people from Regent Homes as I could, and honestly, they ALL have been welcoming! Pros: Nice neighbors, safe neighborhood more

Unprofessional / Deceptive 4/24/2009

If you want to get an idea of how Regent and all the staff will treat you just look at the response from a Regent representive ""BUCKEYES83"" to an earlier post. They are the most disrespectful, unprofessional and deceptive people I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Example? How would you feel if you had purchased a home in Lenox Village and continuously had to deal with the noise, workers, mud and basically live in a construction zone only for Regent Homes to announce that the new Lenox Village Lifestyle Center is being changed from Condo's for sale to Apartments for rent? Does anyone in their right mind think that having an apartment complex in the middle of their neighborhood helps already falling home values? The owners of Lenox Village have decided that since the market has slowed, it is their right to pad their pockets with rent monies at the expense of all the residents who made the mistake of purchasing homes here. When we purchased, we were told of all the grocery stores that would deliver to your home, not. If these plans were not written in stone they shouldnt be mentioned during their sales pitch. The construction workers and the builders themselves have no respect for the home owners as the crews start sometimes as early as 5am and yes, that includes Sundays. I have really tried to be happy here because it now seems I will be here for a while but the more I see, the worse I feel. Who knows, they might open a hotel here or maybe a strip club, whatevers best for Regent is the only requirement. Pros: Walking trails Cons: Everything else more

Terrible company to deal with! Would not recommend buying house here! 2/13/2009

I would not want my worst enemy to buy a house in any of the subdivisions that Regent Homes builds. Their work is inferior and the staff is unprofessional. As soon as you sign the dotted line at the closing, don't even think about ever getting anything fixed ever again. They will come up with every excuse they can think of so they don't have to fix problems with your house. I agree with the last poster too. If you ever have to deal with that guy named Donnie, I feel sorry for you b/c he is very rude and unprofessional. Don't expect much from this company. And also, all these positive reviews are just phony reviews placed by Regent Homes, how sad that the company would have to do that. Cons: House is built inferior. Staff are rude after you buy!! more

Bad experience the whole way through 2/3/2009

I just ran across this review sight while I was searching for some Lenox Village info online...I see the last post from Donny Walker was a long time ago, so I doubt he will see this, but I sure hope so. Donny...you, sir, are full of it. I could sit here and type and type all of the things that have gone wrong with this place since the day I moved in...from the sales rep..to the construction manager..to the warranty/repair department..to talking with you in person on several occasions....but Im not going to the trouble. Getting all of my warranty issues fixed before my first year was up and trying to deal with you people has been exhausting enough....BUT I WILL say this....in my personal experience trying to deal with you Mr. Walker, I can say first hand that everything you just typed in your message is BS. Im not going into details here, and believe me Donny, neither you or Regent want me to....but I would never recommend doing business with ANYONE who works for Regent. And by the way, as far as the phone call survey thing, I did that survey and gave a bad review to Regent....and I never received a single phone call from them asking what they could do to make things better. They are way in over their heads here folks.....they operate like amateurs....Now they are going to rent places out here, like they said they never would...these folks cannot be trusted. Period. more

Is regent homes writing these raving reviews? 4/14/2008

I totally agree with the older posts on here. Lenox Village is a wonderful concept, a beautiful, walkable neighborhood like the yesteryears. Too bad our sales person and the builders, REGENT HOMES has made it a very negative experience for us. We signed March 2005, was promised to move in within a few months, got the runaround for about a year, and was finally able to move in June 2006. Our sales person was AWFUL, like one person said, it was almost like he wanted us to just back out. He told us lies, misled us on the structure of the building (he said that the walls were a new way of construction where we wouldn't be able to hear our neighbors-WRONG!!!!), and acted like he didn't care at all about us cuz he knew he could get someone else in our place. Unfortunately, our experience in Lenox Village has hampered our view of Nashville. We were in Nashville for 4 years for school, and now that we are about to leave, our experience at Lenox Village has left a sour taste in our mouth for this city. We have lived here for almost 2 years and there are STILL things that need to be fixed in our unit, even after NUMEROUS times of requesting it to be fixed. So frustrating!!! more

Cozy Corner Cafe In Lenox 3/14/2008

I live in Lenox and I find the Cozy Corner Cafe to have great food with great prices. Many of my friends come from near by communities every Saturday to have lunch. We all love the low key relaxing feel of a neighborhood cafe that is not a national chain. The chairs are as comfortable as Panera Bread. Best of all we like the personal service and the fresh home made sandwiches, soups, and pastries. Pros: Great food and service. No congested traffic. more

Cozy Corner Cafe in Lenox Village 3/5/2008

I read the review from February '08 highly recommending this cafe. Pros: Uh - well - the floors were clean Cons: Read the post - too many to relist. Parking, Decor, Noise Level, Overall Atmosphere... more

Best Town Homes!!!!! Everything's INCLUDED!!!! 2/25/2008

I have been shopping for town homes for over 7 months. One of my friends told me to check out Lenox Village on Nolensville Rd. I live in Green Hills and was not excited about the Old Hickory Blvd. area. She strongly encouraged me to check out the area and to look at all the new retail in the area and how revamped everything was becoming....I WAS 100% IMPRESSED WITH THE AREA! Lenox Village is AFFORDABLE, full of young professionals, and convienient to shopping and restaurants. I drove past Lenox on accident and went to a Centex community down the road. There were signs all over the neighborhood suggesting to NEVER BUY A CENTEX HOME. I immediately left that neighborhood and found my way to Lenox. When I arrived at Lenox, I was overwhelmed with everything. The neighborhood has shopping, a spa, a cafe and bookstore, Pie in the sky pizza, a dentist, a hair studio, and adorable condos, townhomes, and houses. People were playing with their dogs in the courtyards, a group of guys were throwing the football, and people were out on their front porches. I went into the model to get information (they are very busy) and had a girl show me 4 different town homes. The prices were sooo affordable and included fenced in backyards (I have a small dog). The deposit was super cheap and the contract took only 20 minutes. I called my friend that told me to check it out and let her know I bought!!! I think she's going to buy the town home next door to mine. My town home will be ready in 1 month and I am leasing for another 4 months. The builder is breaking my apartment lease for me so I can move in early. I am so excited because I get to pick out my hardwood floors, countertops, and paint. I am only going to be paying $178.00 more then my current rent. GO CHECK OUT LENOX VILLAGE...YOU WILL BE VERY SURPRISED AT WHAT YOU FIND!! Pros: Affordable, Adorable, and NEW!!! Cons: I work about 25 minutes away! more

I Love where I live 12/13/2007

I moved into my new Regent Townhome at Lenox Village a year ago . I love where I live. My new Townhome has every thing I could have ever wanted, crown molding, hardwood floors.and a fenced in court for my little dog. My townhome was custom built to meet my ""special needs"". All the guys at Lenox have been great to work with. The people that live here are so nice to me and my dog. We enjoy long walks meeting our neighbors. Pros: Lenox Village Design and Townhome with fenced in court yard more

Where to buy your next house!!! 10/23/2007

Lenox Village is the place to live in Nashville. I knew the minute that I pulled into the neighborhood that I had to live here. The sales staff gave me a wonderful presentation of the neighborhood. I wanted to drive around on my own before making my final decision on my purchase. I loved how everyone was out walking or talking on their porches. I have lived here about 6 months and could not be happier!!! Pros: Sales staff, clean neighborhood. more

Lenox Village Nightmare 5/30/2007

I have sold and moved out of Lenox Village after living there for 11 months. Even though I have moved to a beautiful diferent community, I am still left with the bitter taste of how badly I was treated by the sales people and construction representatives. . They tell you what they think you want to hear and have no intention of following through with anything unless you get ugly. The house they built for me had a multitude of problems including structural which were not dealt with until the day before the closing. Once you close on a house there you are on your own to deal with all the unfinished items they leave. I was told that all final inspections were done before closing. One month later a Metro building inspector knocked on my door to say that the house had not had a final inspection and approval. It took three months to get the work completed that they left unfinished and final approval . This community sounded like a good idea but the reality of living there was very unpleasant. I am so glad to be gone from there. more

After you buy...bye 5/8/2006

I purchased a condo and they were very friendly until I signed the contract and then it was a complete mess. In fact I felt like they almost wanted me to back out of the contract. The staff was extremely rude to my realtor and me on several occasions. One of the sales staff even signed a document that they later denied signing and refused to abide. I love my place, but really think that the seller has a lot to work on. more

Treated Poorly 12/13/2005

Once you buy your home the customer service is HORRIBLE. They make promises to you when you buy that they have NO plans to keep. more
