Redbird Catering

They catered an architect meeting for us (for the second time) and it went very smoothly. Whoever had 400 people probably failed to tell them that there would be that large of a turnout. They are a small business (which people should be supporting). They aren't like Quizno's or Jimmy Johns that provide mountains of food at a moments notice and are alright with throwing most of it away. Their prices are more than fair also. I would recommend them to anyone who is having a small-medium gathering. And if you are going to have a larger one, at least have the forethought to tell them way in advance. People today are so picky and ready to point out all the faults of a business that is trying hard to compete against the big names. I'll be using them again for all of our architect meetings (approx. 2-3 a year). They have my recommendation. more

Redbird Catering provided grilling on site for our band tailgate party this past weekend. That part was fine, except that I wondered if they had done groups as large as 400 people before. They only had two buffets lines going and ran out of homemade desserts. Those of us at the end had to make due with packaged cookies. Also ran out of lemonade and hot chocolate. Only coffee was left. This wasn't really acceptable as the majority were high school band students. I think they need to re-evaluate how they serve and how much food/drinks they provide. I don't know how much our group paid for this as I was just a participant but was disappointed in what I got for my ticket price. more

Redbird Catering is a company you would go to as a last resort. Their prices are on the up and up. Their staff are very kind but don't seem to skilled. They are hard to get intouch with and don't have a great selection of different services. Their hours of operation are built to suit them and not the customer. I would not recommend this company to anyone who wants to make their even enjoyable. more
