This church is Tulsa's love church. We do not have a pastor in the pulpit that has been having an affair while the members turn a blind eye. For the past two years we have been going through a restoration program with our former pastor. This program was developed by the Baptist Association, not our church and has been overseen by a few members within the church as well as delegates appointed by the association from other southern baptist churches. We have carried out the biblical principle of ""if a brother is taken in a fault, go to him with two other men, and if he confesses and asks forgiveness, restore him to your fellowship."" This church has done what no other church in Oklahoma has done, they have personally undertaken to restore their pastor themselves, not to restore him to the pulpit of this church, but to restore to fellowship with the church. This is love, not legality. This former pastor does not even attend here anymore, but we know that we have done the right thing by helping him regain his fellowship with the Lord. This church is full of people that love the Lord and love others. It has a vibrant jail ministry, food ministry, and clothing house ministry. We are about the Lord's command to go and tell about Jesus. Our youth and children's ministries draw many from our surrounding neighborhood. We have had many professions of faith and baptisms in the last 1 1/2 years. If you are looking for a church that is about ministry and serving the Lord, this is that church.
