Red Auto Sales

Do not ever buy a vehicle from R.E.D. Auto Sales 421 West 7th Street, Joplin Mo.\r I bought a 2006 VW Passat from them and a week later had to put $3300 of repairs into it and still not finished repair the car. Still have to have the transmission rebuilt and the axles replace. R.E.D. told me it is my problem now and they will not do anything about it. On top of that, I had to get a rental for a week so far as the car is in the repair shop. Just a heads up for everyone in the Joplin area. Do not make the same mistake as I do. This car better last forever after it is fixed. I try to help out small local company, but when they treat the clients like this they do not need to be in business. I apologise for gripping, but I believe this is something everyone needs to be aware of. more

I bought a 1997, Acura Integra from RED, and it is a great car, I had an endine mount go bad and brought it back to them and they replaced it no questions asked, Ive driven the car from Joplin to Galveston and no problems. Will do business again, since he told me if I like anything else on the lot down the road he will give me the best trade in, in town. more

We purchased a car here that we were told was the owner's wife's personal car for the past 4 years, so figured that the salesman knew all about it. Plus they gave us a 3000 mile, 3 month warranty on the engine and transmission, which they did not honor. Dealing through the Attorney General currently. If you buy from them, have the car thoroughly checked out by a mechanic you trust first. We have not only replaced the engine, but invested almost as much in repairs as we did in the car. Don't depend on them to disclose everything wrong with their cars. more
