Good Place to Shop for Used Items 8/23/2008

Recycle Ann Arbor, is still a good place to shop for used items at low prices. They are located on S. Industrial and are easy to find. They do have parking, but it can be crowded.\r \r You can find just about anything here. New things come in everyday. Household items, furniture, books, building materials all can be found. And of course the prices are low compared to new items. more

*.*.* Customers BANNED from Reuse Recycle Center in Ann Arbor, MI *.*.* 7/22/2007

We have learned that the Reuse Recycele Center of Ann Arbor, Michigan, also known as the RAA, is using a policy of banishment for anyone that they deem to be "disruptive or detrimental to normal business operations."\r Which on the surface seems understandable. But recently it also seems to mean that if you are in any way undesirable to the staff or management of the RAA you can, and probably will, be banned. \r For instance; if you are a collector of a particular item, and a staff member is also a collector of said item, that staff member can have you banned for life from the RAA with little or no truth to their accusations.\r Or if you realize that the RAA regularly receives certain valuable items and you check back regularly for said items, the RAA staff can ban you in order to give the advantage of acquisition to themselves, their friends, family or 'preferred' community members. \r This may sound a little cheap, nepotistic and anti-social but it seems to be what is happening at the RA more

Visit OFTEN! 9/6/2005

R.A.A. changes on a daily basis, so you really need to visit frequently if you are looking for a particular item. I've found a multitude of canning jars for a project, Christmas tree stands/accessories, antique glass and silver, building materials, exercise equipment, furniture and lamps, and many other items here, all either like new or in relatively good shape, and all for bargain basement prices. The book and record selection is phenominal as well! more

Recycle Ann Arbor 7/18/2005

This is a warehouse that has used/donated household goods, everything from doors, to bedroom sets, furniture, pots, etc...they even have a pretty large book collection. Its kind of like a huge garage sale, prices are reasonable and its a great place to pick up afforable items for your home. Sometimes the parking lot is full, but usually you can always find a spot. more
