I think Real Property Management does some things really well and other things not as well. For example, when I was first setting things up the company was very attentive and professional. Adel gave me very good advice and had tremendous patience over multiple phone calls managing my set-up from another state. They have great reporting and communication when certain things need to get done. However, I often feel like one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. Nobody made it clear to me which staff members to call for specific issues. Within the first 3-4 months I got a bunch of calls and every single time it was from a different person. Sometimes it was a completely separate issue, but other times it was connected to an issue from a previous call but the person calling didn't have the information I had relayed on the previous call. Often I would get a call because the tenant had filed a request for something that needed to be tended to at the property. Then, maybe a month later, I would get another request for the exact same thing, and sometimes from a different persona at the company. I didn't know what had happened? Did that thing break again? Was the issue never resolved in the first place? When I called them to try and figure it out it took a long time to get a clear answer. On the other hand, I do feel like if I call Adel for advice about what to do regarding a tenant issue, he's very attentive and gives me a lot of time, and I think their pricing is fair. So I think they are set up to do a great job, but they need to be more transparent about who does what for the client.
