A huge relief to find a good vet in my area. My dogs are very nervous but Dr Marks and his staff made a calming environment for them to recieve wonderful care.

Worst

The only reason they rate more than one star is because the doctors really are good at what they do. Sadly, all of that competence is overshadowed by a very unpleasant office man...

Nice veterinary office but ridiculously overpriced 10/17/2007

I brought my dog in for a mild skin condition and left with a bill for more than $450. It's a nice place but who can possibly afford it? Pros: Nice office, nice people Cons: Prices are ridiculous, unnecessary supplements more

Rancho Park Vet,not that great,lousy service especially the doctors wife!!!!!! 6/7/2007

I took my cat in to get him checked out he was blocked or something anyways when i walked in the door the old receptionist was nice at first.I went in with the doctor he was very nice after the old receptionist to happened to be his money humgry wife gave me prices on all the procedures that needed to be done when I her I could not afford it she stopped being nice and had another receptionist check me out. She has no customer service skills and is just money hungry and if you dont have it she wont even bother. Pros: Doctors know what they are doing and are very professional and bright. Cons: Office manager is rude and money hungry more

Although this place was highly recommended by a co-worker, I will never take my pet back. I brought her in for a skin condition, and $545.00 worth of labs were ordered without my consent. The vet's only interest was in reviewing her prior medical record to find ""billable"" labs, shots or other services recently provided, versus treating her for the reason she was brought in. Once the vet found out I was transferring care to a vet closer to my house due to cost, I never received a call with the lab results, or results of the heartworm test! This is bad veterinarian medicine. To add insult to injury, Dr. Nicolayevsky didn't even remember who I was, or my why she saw my pet, 5 hours later when I came to pick her up. Do not go here! more

You won't find this kind of care anywhere! 4/17/2006

We drive from San Diego just to go to this Veterinary Clinic in Los Angeles. You won't find a more professional or conscientious staff of assistants or doctors anywhere in the country. This is not a chain (which is on every corner), but a REAL VET who doesn't take the quick way out. They provide the most awesome animal care, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my animals. They do it all right and treat each animal as if it were their own. more

This is not a chain (which is on every corner), but a REAL VET who doesn't take the quick way out. They provide the most awesome animal care, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my animals. The vet's wife ruins the whole experience! 7/20/2005

I have gone to Rancho Park for a little under a year with my small puppy. The vets have been very nice and personable and for a while, that was enough to make us return. Even most of the office staff was friendly! But, I'm afraid one of the vet's wives is the office manager and she is the single reason why we are no longer going to this vet. She is rude, patronizing, impatient, and makes you and your pet feel like you don't belong there. I am one of those people that get along with everyone, but, I actually left there in tears once because of her lack of personability. I strongly do not recommend this clinic simply because of this incredibly negative front person they have there. Pros: nice vets, clean Cons: the office manager, patronizing, RUDE!!!! more
