During our visit to Baton Rouge, my friends and I are lucky to have visited Rama Restaurant. I'm Thai so I can say that I've found a true Thai cuisine. Waitresses are friendly and informative. Foods are reasonably prices when compared to big portion that you've got in front of you a college budget price range I must say! We ordered quite a few recommended dishes: Pla Chien (deep-fried fish fillet grace with home-made sauce), Cashew Chicken/Shrimp (you can see plenty of cashew nuts in there!), Indian Chicken Curry, Mee Krob (traditional Thai dish made with crispy noodles mixed with a special sauce and stir-fried to perfection). For noodle lovers like myself, I love Rama's Pad Khee Maow and Pad See-iew. After that, we finished our meal with Rama's fried bananas served with your choice of home-made coconut or durian ice-cream a heavenly sweet treat!
Pros: Reasonable prices, good service, delicious Thai foods
Cons: crowded at weekends
