I have been going to the Raleigh Eye Center ever since 1995, visiting Dr. James W. Kiley almost everytime, but I will NEVER return. My intent during my most recent vist to Dr. Kiley was to have an eye exam and receive a perscription for both glasses and contacts. I had to wait a while, which was fine. However, when Dr. Kylie finally saw me, he made a slapdash, hurried examination and was ready to see the next patient. When I told him I wanted to be fitted for contacts, his response was, ""Oh, take the glasses perscription to wherever you get it filled. They'll be able to take care of it from there."" Before I could protest, he was out of the room. I am furious. I paid money for Kylie's care, and he gave me less than adequate care. Now I have to pay more money to go to someone else to get contacts. I understand doctors' offices are busy and unforseen things happen while looking at patients, but Dr. Kylie should not take more patients than he can handle. After all, how long should a contact lens fitting take? I had the courtesy to wait for him to show up. The least he could have done was spent five minutes fitting me for lenses. Do not go to this doctor. Do not go to the Raleigh Eye Center.
Pros: if you want to spend money to get inadequate service
Cons: doctors overscheduling patients and not spending enough time on an exam, not being fitted for contact lenses,, waiting
