Ragsdill Preschool & Activity

Ragsdill has been taking care of and educating my children (all 4 of them) since they were all toddlers! Two of my children are in high school now, one is in first grade, and my last little one is in pre-k. My many years of experience with their teachers and staff speaks volumes about the quality and excellence Ragsdill has provided for my family. Their kind, caring and professional staff have been a godsend. I am so grateful they have been there for my family for all these years and I highly recommend them! more

Ragsdill is the most wonderful place I have ever taken my child. The staff are loving and caring and make you feel so welcome the minute you walk in the school. It is very relieving to be able to walk into a place like Ragsdill and leave my daughter. She is so happy and asks if she can go to the school on weekends! There are TONS of toys and the place is so well organized and CLEAN. My daughter has learned so much since she has been there, and I am amazed how she loves to come home and teach me what she has learned. I have recommended them to everyone I know and will continue to do so. more

My daughter went here for about a year. I would NOT recommend this day care. The ratio of teacher to child goes down drastically for older childred. There are no educational programs. The swimming costs extra, the swimming lessons are mandatory if you swim and they are extra. For outings you must have a t-shirt, which is understandable, but if you forget your t-shirt your child can NOT participate in the activity unless you buy another t-shirt. We went to daycare at the YMCA and they would lend us a t-shirt whenever we forgot ours. Also their swimming is included in the cost. On one outing I applied sunscreen to my red haired fair skinned daughter before going to day care. When I dropped her off I asked two attendants to apply sunscreed every two hours. My daughter had a sunburn so bad I had to take her to the doctor. Another time a boy spoke sexually to her and the attendant told her nice girls don't do things like that. i was almost driven off the road by this company's bus driver. no one should swerve across all three lanes of traffic at the last second when there is another freeway ramp 1/2 mile down the road, especially with other peoples children on board. I would never want my kids on the bus with that guy driving more

Ragsdill is a well established and well respected preschool in the Spring Branch area providing safe and exceptional care for children at a reasonable price. The school also hosts a swimming program with an indoor swimming pool and petting zoo in the backyard. I highly recommend Ragsdill School for any preschoolers. more
