Radisson Hotel Grand Rapids Riverfront

There are plenty of things to do in Grand Rapids. There is no way to get bored unless you want to. more

Our stay at the Radisson was very nice. The beds were new "sleep number" mattresses, extremely comfortable. We needed to use the soaps, shampoos and found then to be ample in size and a nice quality. The restaurant had a breakfast buffet which was very nice and a full menu. We tried a frittata off of the menu and really enjoyed it. more

Easy check-in and check-out. Comfortable rooms. Hot water and good pressure in the shower. Sleep Number Bed was fun and enjoyable to play around with. Great hotel for the Grand Rapids area. more

The best part of this stay was the amazing bed! It was firm but not too firm and had an individual control for this. And the pillows were the best I have ever encountered in a hotel room! more

This hotel is about 10 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids. We stayed at this hotel because of a great deal we received through a website. The room was very spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. The sheets had some stains on them but otherwise were clean. The bathroom was clean with all the little extras of shampoo, lotion, soap, etc. Room service was good; food was at the right temperature and the waitresses were friendly. The restaurant had some wonderful food for supper. The hotel itself is a little old but we loved the spaciousness of the room. but overall it was a positive experience. more

The staff were friendly, the food and service impressive, and they have free WIFI. We didn't use the pool/spa but a lot of others did. They have a bar/lounge (The Landing) and the live band (Glass House) was super. We Will go again. more

I have stayed in many hotels in the Grand Rapids area and although this is not the JW Marriott, it is by far the best deal for the money! Very clean and the staff is very friendly. The sleep number beds were extremely comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very good too!!! I would highly recommend the Radisson if you are looking for affordability and nice! more

I believe the food server in the Landing restaurant name is Kathy. She waited on us each morning of our stay. She was always attentive, pleasant and helpful… never making us fell rushed. And on the second day of our stay she went out of her way to help one of the members of our party who accidently spilled bluebery juice on her slacks. Kathy offered several solutions and brought club soda and napkins to try and clean this... when that did not work she went to her purse and returned with her own Tide stick (Maybe the restaurant should keep one on hand for future mishaps.) The Tide stick did the trick and the stain was removed. It was the quick thinking and the generousity of this individual that help advert permanent damage to my friends slacks and made us all determined that if we are in the area again that we would stay at your hotel. I would also like to bring to your atention your front desk staff. In particular Tien. She was extremely knowledgable about your city and helped us find places to visit and excellent eateries while we were out and about. When we had questions about our checkin, she provided the answers in a professional pleasant manner and she definitely exceeded our expectations of front desk staff. I applaud the individual(s) who hire the staff at this hotel/restaurant. you have truely selected the 'cream of the crop'. Because of the staff alone we would definitely return to this hotel. Before we arrived, Mary Becker was extremely helpful in making our reservation and offering us 2 free breakfasts during our stay. This was the reason why we chose to stay at the Radisson Grand Rapids. The only problem we had was th etoilet plugged up one afternoon and Jeff (I believe that was his name) came up right away and took care of the problem. He was very friendly and courteous. Our room was clean and spacious and we enjoyed the free wi-fi. We all enjoyed the pool. We ate 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners at The Landing. - the service was great as well as the food. We really enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located downtown area, zoo, 5th/rd ballpark, and Meijer Gardens. more
