I hired Quantum Finance to solve my tax problem about two years ago. They helped get a flat offer to the IRS that saved my business in addition to $48,000.00 + on what we owed. I used to work for these guys in 2004/2005, and all I can say is buyer beware. They are a small private firm out of Boulder, CO - they do NOT work for the IRS or government in any way. I found the environment to be completely sales-driven (they have an entire telemarketing department that gets your personal info from IRS data bases). . They want lots of upfront money as a 'retainer' for work- regardless of outcome, and they will bill down that retainer any way they can and ask for more - or cut you off in mid stream if you refuse. There are some legit things they may do for you - depending on who gets assigned to your case, that basically boils down to helping you flip your corp. to a sole-prop to avoid personal liability on taxes. You could do what they offer for yourself with a little research and save yourself the money. At the very least hire a CPA or an attorney that will meet with you face-to-face. These guys are pretty cut-throat, and I left my position with them because I felt like they were preying on people in crisis. Please think twice before signing on to ANYTHING with this company. I cringe whenever I see their name - I'm disappointed that they are still in business. I unfortunately contracted with this company to handle a tax problem. They promised lots of things that they never delivered and insisted that I pay them a large flat fee upfront. I would not do business with this company if you want results. If you do, certainly do not pay them upfront..let them earn their money instead of just taking it and moving on to the next victim. Quantum came to me last year in May and offered to help me with my tax problems. Like others, I was weary at first, however decided to sign on. After a year, my associate wiped away the penalties and interest on the account, released liens against my assets and got the IRS off my back! Now I am still in business paying back the tax amount and am a satisfied customer! I would highly recommend Quantum to anyone who has tax problems! These people have called me twice saying they are a company called Quantum and work for the collection and appeals division of the state department of revenue as a tax resolution/negotiation firm. A quick lookup on the caller ID number led me here and to other sites. Obviously this is some slick talking marketing/phone phishing scam. \r \r more

These people are worse than telemarketers, called my business cell phone looking for people we had no connection with and then were rude when I was bewildered. Don't answer your phone! more
