Progressive Dance Studio

Progressive Dance Studio is absolutely the best Dance Studio in New Jersey. I have know PDS since its debut in 1981, and have witnessed the development of hundreds of children into beautiful young adults and dancers. Aluminists from PDS have made it into many professional dance companies including New York City Ballet. PDS has a phenomenal, professional faculty that really cares about its students. more

I would recommend this dance studio to anyone who is looking for top quality dance instruction, yet wants a fun and supportive experience for their child as well. my daughter has been dancing here for 3 years and she comes happy, leaves even happier, and is so proud of the skills she is acquiring. the owner is incredible, in that she is super accomodating (daughter want to try a class-""NO problem!"") and is really dedicated to creating a special space for the children to learn and grow as dancers. I think her new studio space is a great improvement, Love that there is a convenient dance store on the premise, Love the ample parking, and Love that there are great viewing areas to keep an eye on how the class is progressing. Teachers are fun and energetic and nurturing and most of all trained experienced REAL dancers. i say this dance studio is a real treasure and i feel so lucky they are right in my backyard! more

I agree with Judy's comments. The studio's quality has been going down over the years and it reached is lowerst two years ago. After moving to a new location it seemed that the owner, Jolene was trying to get things better, but it is back to disorganized. If you still decide to go to this place, good luck getting a call back or a reply to your email. more
