Professionals In The City

I decided to go with my friend to this event, so I can meet more people since I recently moved out here. I have never participated to an event like this before, so I didn't know what to expect. The host was really nice, people were friendly and interesting. It was a well mix and diverse crowd. I had a really good time. It was amazingly well done. I wish we would have had more time to talk to people, 5-6 minutes is not enough, but I guess that's why it is called ""speed dating"". Even if you don't find what you are looking for, this is just a great way to spend a night out! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun night out. more

All other singles spots rate 2nd against Professionals In the City. I just moved to DC recently and was trying to tap into the night life. I found out about Professionals In the City by ""googling"" for speed dating and singles events. I noticed that they got great reviews in general and thought I'd give it a shot. These guys were awesome. more

By the time you're 30 to 40's you pretty much know what qualities are going make for a good match vs ""not on your life"". If you follow the formula for success...asking the most important questions that you need answers to and do it quickly you can really get down to the business of selecting the date that's right for you. Professionals In the City has great atmosphere for speed dating and singles events. I would give them a try if you get an opportunity. more

My date and I attended their New Year's gala at the Washington Hilton and had a wonderful night. It was so much fun being able to bounce from room to room, enjoying all the varieties of entertainment, culture, music, food and drink. Truly a class act! more

I recently attended one of the speed dating events for 40 and 50 year olds held by Professionals in the City. It was great. You can tell they work hard to create a relaxed, friendly setting. It had been a long time since I had had to talk to women and that night I met over 20. With no problem! As a recent widower I thought I would not be able to do this. I was wrong. I highly recommend any of their events if you want to have fun. more

It's very difficult to write a review here without repeating what has already been said, but I agree completely with all the positive things I have read on here. The events are always in intimate settings and the people are always great company to be in, that's why I continue to attend! more

Howdy guys, you got me one amazing day. I met a very interesting girl from an event that was set up in an intimate place. The rest of those yuppies that was there on that said event were the coolest. Guys this is the place to be. The ambiance was cool and well planned. I usually don't go on this kind of events, It was just introduce to me by a couple of my friends. Every negative things that I thought of this place\r was instantly removed. It was a great experience. I'll be honest, I was a bit apprehensive about signing up and even participating in one of these sites, but I have to say prosinthecity definitely erased all negative thoughts as soon as I joined up and went along to my first event,  I was nervous at first, meeting lots of new people was never my strong point but amazingly enough all the other people at the event I went to were just normal people like me (I know its amazing isn't it :)) AND most importantly single.  I had all these images in my head about the kind of people that would go, but wow there were some very beautiful women there, some of which I've met up after work and have made some new friends and have even been on a few dates with one girl.  Pros in the city removed all the hassle and difficulty with meeting women my age, and for that I give them 5 stars! You know it is so hard to find interesting people in Washington DC in a setting where you can take the time to get to know them and try and have a conversation about what you have in common. Professionals in the City has made it so easy for me when I'm in DC to mingle with 100's of professionals at the speed dating events. I know it sounds a little crazy but this is something that you have to try out if you're looking for well dressed, intelligent and interesting single people. I have met so many people at Professionals in the City's events that I'm almost addicted. Thank you so much for making my dating life easier even those it was scary to bit the bullet.
