Best

Dear jvecc – Please accept my personal apology for the negative experience you describe below. I assure you that we take the safety and well being of our guests very seriously ...

Worst

A very hyped place but not worth it. Staff members were inattentive, had no personalities and were simply rude on several occasions. Entre menu was limited - only 4 pasta dishes...

Deplorable service 3/2/2003

The food was good. . . well my two bites were. The waiter took ther food away from me after two bites and ignored me when I tried to tell him that I was not finished. Not only that, he also took our drinks away before we finished them. I don't know if it was a ploy to pad the bill, believe me - it was high enough without his help! It is a small, cramped restaurant that rushes you through your meal. I would NOT go there - there are so many better choices in the North End. Cons: rushed service, cramped dining room, over priced more

Perfect! 12/4/2002

Prezza is fantastic. Their handmade pastas are my favorite but I also like the wood grilled meats. Billy, the bartender, will know you after one or two visits. Service has always been perfect, the wine list is so diverse and the atmosphere is chic and urban--definitely not your normal North End spot. Plus--hooray for the Valet Parking! more

Bravo! 9/22/2002

I went there for a friend's birthday and was delighted to find such an elegant restaurant hidden in the North End. The food was extremely delicious and the wait staff was very helpful. I have to admit it's quite pricey (came down to about $60/person) but the food and wine are definitely worth it! If there's anything to complain was that we had a 9:30pm reservation but wasn't seated til 10pm.. Pros: delicious food, good ambience, valet parking Cons: expensive more

Great 8/21/2002

The service was great. Although, it took a while for a waiter to first come visit, after that it was great. Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion. more

Prezza is a restaurant of many words and tastes. The service is welcoming and impeccable. I have brought several people to Prezza and have always received the highest compliments for choice. more

The Best there is! 8/13/2002

This is my favorite resturant in Boston by far. It is always a pleasure to eat and there and the wait staff treats you like royalty. The food is the best in Boston! Prezza is a great vaule for a resturant in Boston you get alot of food for your buck! and their wine menu is outstanding you have to try this place. You will never leave hungry! And they have their own Valet very rare in the North End! Pros: Good parking, Awsome food, Great wine more

buono 8/7/2002

It's been nearly a year since I visited. At first I thought 'kind of expensive for Italian' even though I enjoyed every minute of the fusion of classic italian with the modern twist (the polenta appetizer is amazingly simple yet sophisticated). Not to mention the excellent waitress. She was there when you wanted her and made herself scarce when necessary. As a former waitress myself I really appreciated this. Therefore, upon further thought it's worth the extra money to get that little extra class that's often hard to find among the checkered tableclothes of almost every italian restaurant. Pros: modern italian Cons: a bit expensive more

Wonderful! 7/12/2002

Best dining experience I've had in recent months. The saffron-lobster risotto served with the veal was absolutely heavenly. In an age where it seems that more restaurants are pushing $100+ bottles of wine, its nice to have a restaurant that has some very strong bottles in the $40-range as well. Pros: Food, Wine List more

Fantastic food but at what price??? 7/2/2002

Prezza was fantastic, no doubt about it. HOWEVER it is really overpriced! The hostest even went out of here way to change our reservations at the last moment because we had a snafu in plans. We had an amazing dinner with wonderful service but the bill was outrageous. I wouldn't spend the money here again which is a shame as the meal was enjoyable. more
