I would highly recommend ths place had a great time and learned alot about my baby. The pictures were good but could have been better if I had listened to the girl and stopped drinking alot of sodas and drank more water the week before so i would have been hydrated. My body was dehydrated so the picture were a little fuzzybut she let me come back in a week after I did what she recommened and they were GREAT. I hope everyone reads this about soda it does make a difference. Drink LOTS OF Water it works. Pros: professional more

Used a groupon coupon to get a 3D ultraound. I had one done previously at a place in Morrisville but found the price to be reasonable to do another. The employee was very sweet and it's pretty easy location to get to. When comparing the two, I'd say the one in Morrisville was superior in the qualtiy of pictures and the machine seemed to be of a higher quality, plus you get a CD rom of the pictures and more 3D photos if you pay full price. However, if you are tight on money and are using the Groupon Coupon, then this place is fine. more

Trisha gave us suck wonderful pictures of our baby and made us feel right at home. It was the best experience ever. She had found a problem with my baby's heart and called my doctor after the ultrasound to let them know what she saw. My doctor called us immediately and seen us to Duke for another scan with a heart specialist, who confirmed with Trisha saw. Now when my baby girl is born we will be prepared if anything arises and the right doctors will be there to help. Thanks a million for being specially trained and schooled to determined this that was missed by my doctors office. You are the best. I will refer Prenatal Peek to everone I know... We just had our 3D/4D this past Friday. it was well worth the money. We paid for a 30 minute session but the tech gave us an hour because our baby's legs were in the way of a full head shot. The tech would have given us longer but I was tired. We did get some great face pictures of our baby, though. \r Everyone was very friendly and seemed to get a big a kick out the whole experience as we did. \r I read the reviews before out visit and almost backed out. The tech at our doctor told us she thought we were having a boy, but the umbilical cord was in the way, so we paid for a scan here at 20 weeks. The lady here told me she was positive we were having a girl and printed pictures of it. She was SO WRONG! We had another scan at the hospital because I was bleeding and they told me my little boy was fine. LITTLE BOY! We have to replace everything from girl to boy stuff, and it's costing a lot of money. And yes, the pictures are small, black only, and the DVD does have pop up screens all over it. Wasted money. Cons: Unreliable more

I feel for the people who had such a bad experience here.. but I am very, very suprised. I've had nothing but great experiences.. having gone with both of my children. I've never had anyone be anything less than friendly, kind, and helpful both on the phone and in person.. and not in a fake way at all. I've had four different girls do my scans and they were all just great. In fact, with my 2nd child on my first scan to find out the gender, they had me come back for free THREE times until they were totally 100% sure that it was in fact a girl. They guessed girl the two times before and were ""ALMOST positive"" but had us come back until they confirmed with certainty. The DVD is a recording of your whole session, so when you see them clicking on things and the ""Increase Volume"" box pops up, it's just the tech taking/printing still shots of your scan so you can have pictures too. Nothing is wrong with the DVD! And while the pictures that THEY print out for you right there are in fact small and in black and white (like what you get at the doc) they give you a CD with all of the images on it, just as you saw them on the screen there, and you can print those out in any size you wish - VERY clearly. YOU HAVE to listen to what they say!! When they say lots of water and only water, they say it for a reason! And yes, sometimes they still can't get the VERY BEST pictures that they use in their brochures for each person, because not all babies cooperate every time. Thats not something they control. This facility, and the one they were in 2 years ago, have both been SPOTLESS and they smell great too. The things the negative reviews described didn't sound like the same place that we went to FOUR times for our scans. We had nothing but a great experience with GREAT pictures (we followed the instructions) Sometimes they do run a bit behind, as do doctors offices, because people don't always arrive on time. It's worth the wait and worth the money. They do a GREAT job!! Pros: Friendly staff, clean welcoming environment, GREAT service & pictures! I was actually thinking of using your services until I saw your response to your customers review. What happened to the customers always right. That is no way to do business. I can assure you that you will not get my business or anyone else that I know. Just because she wasn't happy with the results, she still gave you 3 stars. If I was her, I would change it to none. more

i love my experience here and recommended to anyone. It took some time for my baby girl to turn and they was patient plus gave us more time for free. service was excellent. plus the packages are worth it i received a cd, pictures, photo album, dvd plus i had the summer special which included a 50 dollar value pack. I'm sure that i would be coming back the next time. more

I went to Prenatal peek when I was 16weeks and 2days only because I just couldnt take not knowing the gender of my baby....I had to know!!! I was very pleased with their service. They were fast and gental. My baby was alittle stubborn and didnt want to move in the right directions and instead of giving up they took the extr time to wait for that right position. They got almost 40 pictures of my baby a 30 minute dvd and a cd with all the pictures on it so other family members could have copies. I plan on returning when Im in my 3rd trimester just to see what she looks like now!!! I would tell anyone about my great experience at prenatal peek!!! more

Visiting the hubby's family in Durham, we decided to get our ultrasound here. We arrived 10 minutes early, they were 20 minutes late. The woman leaving was shaking her head, now I know why. After waiting, I was shown to a recliner for my scan, and sat down, putting my arm and sleeve in disgusting cold gel from the previous client. Our scan was rushed, the baby was curled up and the tech insisted on pushing on him, making him curl tighter. We were happy with what we saw, but she continued to agitate him. I REALLY didn't appreciate how she kept calling him stubborn. She asked me to turn side to side, which was uncomfortable for my back in this recliner. We paid for 30 minutes, our DVD was 23. The picture quality was poor to say the least, the baby looked like a playdoh object. I was very disappointed with the lots of pictures I received. Poor quality, all black and white. I was not offered a return visit that others write about, the tech seemed indifferent and ingenuine. I spoke to my midwife at Womack about it, she referred me to a place in Cary where she received her scan. My husband will be deployed and miss it. This has been such a let down. Ask around before you visit, wish I had. Pros: Hopefully I still have time for another scan somewhere else Cons: This place does not meet all the hype, ask around more

This was mt 1st experince doing the 4d ultrasound and it was amazing. My doctor @durham OB told me to go here and I am glad I did. The people are so nice and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. My little baby was amazing and stubborn at the same time. We did the special for 120.00 and got about 26 pictures and a cd and dvd . She printed extra pictures for the grandparents to have so I could keep all mine. They gave me a photo album and the most amazing stuff in te mommy gift package. Well worth the money......l will be back with my next baby for sure. My doctor told me to go to them because they were professional and well trained and he was right. She helped me understand the ultrasound pictures and showed me all my babies body parts. My husband finnaly was able to understand what he was looking at. Best place ever. \r Pros: great experience more

We had the best time of our life here. My doctor and my friends recommened this place and they were right. Barbie did a grreat job explaining everthing and getting our little girl to turn and give us great pictures. I can't wait till she is born. We will be back to prenatal peek with our next child without a doubt.... We were in on Saturday, and we had the most fun ever. We had both grandparents down from out of state to see our little one. He waved at us and he showed us his fist . That was good. She got the baby to move by makeing me jog ( that was tough as fat as I am but it was worth it). He smiled and gave us 18 great pictures. My parents had never seen an ultrasound before and this was amazing to them. Just wanted everyone to know this place is highly recommened and we will be back in about 4 weeks to see him again. I just wanted to thank Christy (hope I speleed if right) and her staff. They very GREAT. I brought my little 2 year old with me and he was a little rambly so Christy held him for me so I could enjoy my ultrasound. My baby was hiding her face with her feet but them she should us a great big smile and then stuck out her tongue to us. We laughed about this and evertime we show off our video. The website states that 6-8 pictures but plan on as many as they can print. My daughter gave us great pictures( a total of 43) and they printed and saved everyone of them. Then she printed more off for my mom and my husbands mom and didn't even charge us. I wasn't expecting that, that just shows how nice and caring this place is. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great experience. I found out about them through my doctor because she had used them and she was right a great place. The people were so nice and caring, and when my little girl did not want to be seen, the sonographer ( I can't remember her name but she was AWESOME) kept working with me and her to get her to move. Unfortunately the baby won out we both got tired of trying to get her to move her legs. So they called and scheduled me another appointment in time for me to have very nice pictures to give my hubby for Valentines day! Thank you Prenatal Peek for everything, I have already recommended you all to one of my friends who is expecting. Our doctor recommeded this place to our family and it was the best experience ever. The girl doing our ultrasound took soo much time with us. Our baby was very stubborn and she had me roll in different positions and jogg in place and then we got the most amazing pictures ever. Our doctor was right that this place is awesome. I would recommend it to everyone and we will be back again to see our little girl later. Our package was for 30 minutes but she spent about 45 trying to work with my litte ""Princess"". THanks.... We were very much looking forward to our 3D ultrasound. We nvited family from out of town, took the afternoon off for our appointment, and was very excited to share this experience with our family. The experience was truly amazing, but not with Prenatal Peek. Prenatal Peek rescheduled our appointment, not once, not twice, but three times. The first two times had me feeling uneasy about the business. The last time, after giving my wife and myself two different explanations, was enough for me and the rest of the family. We were fortunate to find another facility in the area that was willing to work our crisis into their schedule and we very much enjoyed the time we spent there. I was glad to find the citysearch forum to share my experiences, then I noticed the business not only uses the forum to rebute customer claims, but to blame customers for their experiences and outcomes. Why would one wait so long to rebute, so the customer won't see the untruthful reply? It's also interesting to find three raving reviews of the business made on the same day. Coincidence, planted, fictitious, you decide? The ultrasound was worth the wait, but go somewhere else, so you won't have to wait! Cons: Lack of respect and consideration for the schedule of my famiy by attempting to rebook on multiple occasions. more

This was my first experience with the 3-d ultrasound and it was unforgetable. The staff was soo sweet. My little girl was stubborn to begin with then she turn and smilled at us. We got great pictures. She even stuck out her tongue and we got a picture of that too. When we get pregant again we will be sure to go back there. We have been there with all 3 of my pregancy and have never had a bad experience. The tech spent alot of time explain everthing and pointing out alot of things we did not know about the baby. We got really great pictures. There were a few when my baby pushed her face in my placenta and they were fuzzy. But it was not their fault my baby was stubborn. I would recommend them HIGHLY because they are Registered songraphers and not a place like the other place who hire people off the street without a licience to work their machine.\r Pros: friendly, knowledgable more

I had a similar experience. I felt we were rushed, and there was no enthusiasm present in the sonographer doing our ultrasound, she didn't seem very involved in what was a special time for us. The pictures and the DVD was not worth the price they charge. They sell the friendly atmosphere, but I didn't feel welcomed at all, until it was time to pay. I think this is a great service but I would look for a more professional and family friendly provider. This was my first 4D ultrasound with Prenal Peek, and probably my last with them.
