Way too busy...I prefer a small private practice. Expensive and not friendly. I don't need a spa just a personalized dental experience. 800 dentist is a scam.

I finally found the perfect dental office 7/25/2011

Going to the dentist has always been a terrifying experience since I was nine years old when I chipped my newly developed permanent tooth. since then I have had 3 root canals and 5 different crowns. I have visited dentist in China and Mid west America, but it wasn't until I moved to New York city that my perception of dentist started to change when I found Preferred Dental Care (PDC). Immediately after I moved to NYC, I frantically searched the internet and read review after review in order to find a good dentist. I went to a few places to compare prices and services. PDC is a place that checks your insurance coverage, tells you about your co-pay and consults options with you. All this is done before the dental services to make sure that there is no surprises as far as pricing. I feel like the people who work at PDC are on my side and will negotiate with my insurance company to maximize the benefit. They also provide very low prices that are not covered in the insurance like tooth whit more

Recommended for tooth implant surgery 7/20/2011

Had my implant done here by Dr. Iyer. The whole procedure wasn't as painful as I thought it would be, actually no pain at all. I was prescribed with some pain medication after the surgery and I need not to take any at all the next day. For someone who dreads dental visits even for a teeth cleaning (like me), I would definitely recommend coming here for tooth implant surgery. I really love everyone at Preferred Dental Care, very friendly and attentive. more

I have gone to quite a few dentist and have never gotten the special care that I get here at Preferred Dental Care. The doctors are efficient as well as the assistants. They all made me feel comfortable and explained exactly what procedures should be performed and procedures that would help me prevent any other issue. The other dentist that I have visited seemed to not only detect issues when they occurred. I wish I had come to Preferred Dental many years before, I am sure I would not have many of the issues that I have now. Very little waiting and prompt. Professional and friendly care is what you get here. I am a patient for life and I am not even done with the numerous procedures. Thank you very much for making me feel like you really care about me. more

Wonderful! 6/29/2011

Dr. Choi has been wonderful! He was very considerate of my situation where I had two broken teeth extracted. He made sure I was numb completely and worked on the tooth. He is the best one so far! I would recommend to anyone! more

Dr. Lee is so wonderful. She is patient and kind, explains everything thoroughly and I trust her. All very important qualities in a dentist. My husband is now coming here for treatment from her and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone... and I will. more

No Longer Afraid! 6/20/2011

I've been afraid to come to the dentist because of bad service(s) that I had in previous years. But now, I would like to change that statement. The experience I had today was very friendly and so comfortable! I would recommend to people who are afraid to be seen at a dentist office. I'll be coming back often now! Easy and pain free! 6/14/2011

Getting an implant was easy and pain free. Don't be scared of the procedure. It sounds much worse than it is. I had no pain when they put in the post. No pain while it healed. I can't believe I lived with a missing tooth for so long. Now you can't even tell I'm missing a tooth. I'm not afraid to a smile a full smile. I highly recommend it. more

Gave me back my smile and laughter! 6/10/2011

I don't know where to begin. My teeth were not only very neglected but I fell on them and they were traumatized. In a very short period of time my teeth looked completely rotten, yellow, and some teeth were shifting. I hated to smile and to look in the mirror. I did not know that there even was a possibility to have a beautiful smile ever again.\r \r My entire outlook has changed. Dr Trivedi not only gave me the Hollywood smile I always wanted, but it was completely painless. Her bedside manner was amazing. I LOVE MY DENTIST! She's professional, knowledgeable, very patient, and caring! She has given me a beautiful smile and I don't think she realizes what a wonderful impact her work has had in my life. She gave me back my smile and laughter. For that I am so grateful!\r \r The entire office feels like a family. I actually look forward to seeing them! more

I am terrified of the dentist! At the THOUGHT of an appointment I freak out and start crying. Through my tears I made my way into the office and three years later I must say it was one of the best decisions I've ever made! PDC has given me a new outlook on my dental health and has gone to every extent to ensure that I am not only comfortable but educated on my dental needs. I love them! Two extractions, one root canal, two fillings and a myriad of cleanings and I am a happy and healthy patient...by the way it's aaaalllll PAIN FREE! Enough said! more

Great experience 6/6/2011

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The office is clean and my experience was way beyond that which I expected. When I found out that I had to get a root canal done I was terrified but dr.Singh made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and it was definitely pain free. I know that I have found my dental office for life. I love preferred dental care. Best dental office I ever went to. more

No one better 6/6/2011

I am the biggest, most afraid, dramatic patient one could find. When I decided to go to Pdc I literally walked down the road crying. I must say that PDC holds the award right now of BEST DENTIST EVER!! The word "scared" is an understatement for the type of patient I am but with the help of the Drs and staff members they have made comfortable. I even had an extraction done and it was a breeze. Everything was done with care and PAIN FREE!! The best thing is I trust my doctor. it's not about money with Dr. Lee, it's all about care and my health and I appreciate that. Don't walk, RUN to this office! more

Great "chair-side" manner! 6/2/2011

I came in today thinking it was my appointment date. Anna at the front desk was VERY courteous and extremely helpful in letting the staff know that I came in the wrong day - but I wanted to be seen today. Everyone was so accommodating and I was 1st seen by Tyrell (who is relatively new) he was so nice, friendly and professional. I told him I was going to let the doctors know that he has a great bedside manner (or perhaps since this is a dentist I should say chair side manner C:). I am very happy that I have all of you at Preferred Dental care to take care of me. I will tell people about you all the time. I hope some of them decide to become patients! more

Remarkable dentist! 5/27/2011

Dr Choi has been remarkable. Her patience and knowledge has eased any nervousness or apprehension I had. The care I received at Preferred Dental has made me feel as if I am truly cared for, not only as a patient but as a person. I am so excited to see my results of my Invisalign and I?m glad that Dr. Choi will be there to help through each step of the way!! more
