Precision Motorworks

I have been coming to Precision for the last few years, I have always liked being able to ask the tech who worked on my Bimmer questions, and the advisers never make you feel rushed to take your money and leave the shop. I can tell you they are not the cheapest shop but then owning a BMW you don't want cheap since you get what you pay for. I'm sure jiffy lube is good for your Ford but I'm not risking it on my M3, I'm kinda fussy that way just ask my wife. more

This company surely doesn't deserve your business let alone be in business...there dishonest crooks! Read...\r \r *** IF YOU WANT to be RIPPED OFF!! and have YOUR CARS BODY DAMAGED to the tune of $1500 plus...then this is the shop for you. \r \r Brought my car in for a coolant leak & found out it was a simple replacement of the expansion reservoir tank....they placed the part in my car without calling me first & tried to over charge me over $330 for installation & the part before I came to pick it up...I didn't have that much money and asked to OWNER have the part remove cause I didn't have that much money at the time but offered to purchase the part which they charged me $60 more for and reinstall myself only cause I felt bad that the mechanic had to take it back out.\r \r * A simple expansion reservoir tank on Ebay cost: $40 they charged $100.\r * Tried charging $230plus for installing the expansion reservoir tank that took me 10mins to install myself...it was literally two or three clips to pull out & install myself...it was so simple a 10 year old could figure out how to do it without instruction.\r \r BUT THIS IS THE BEST PART-\r * After Paying....I walked out to find the entire PASSENGER SIDE DAMAGED from the BUMPER TO MID DOOR with a gouge through the paint and creasing into the metal.(the mirrors points down when backing up and the damage went to about where you would've ended up ripping the mirror off!?)\r \r * I politely confronted the OWNERS of the business who was the only person there about what I found. The mechanic had taken a rag and tried to rub out the gouge which scratch the paint further and subsequently ended up proceeding to be the only clean area of my otherwise dirty car. \r \r It was clear that the mechanic had damaged my car pulling it out of his shop and the owner and a witness standing there that took me to pick up my car could all tell it had just happened. The owner after saying he would talk to the mechanic who conveniently was gone when I arrive. The mechanic...literally looked homeless, had problems with drinking or something, and could barely tell me where to go when I walked into the shop & I imagined paid poorly. The owner even had the audacity to say something to the effect that...""don't you have insurance."" I called 911 and was called back by a Seattle Police Officer who informed that unless it was done maliciously, it was a civil matter that had to be taken up in a small claims court.\r \r Believe it or not this was the second & last time they tried to rip me off for ""work"" they did on this car..which involve a $200 bill for a diagnostic test for a fix that cost less then $10. Don't learn the hard way like I did & save yourself from being ripped off or having your car damaged.\r \r I am a Public Servant of 12 years & appreciate honesty & people/ business's with integrity, especially when it comes to my ability to make it work and pay my bills...these guys don't deserve your business...if I help one person avoid going through what I did then...amen.\r \r Precision Motorworks is garbage! more

A Free Loaner Car Wow, I was very impressed with the offer of a loaner car for a first time customer, they even had in stock the correct battery for my Z3. I'm really glad I had my car towed to them,and will come back to have my future repairs or other car stuff done here. Thanks Guys! more

I'm Very Happy!! This was a great experience taking my BMW to a new shop other then the Dealer who never seems to return my phone calls, but since my free maintenance was over, it was time to find a new shop. I did some searching and came across Precision Motorworks, I called and they got my car in the next day for an Inspection Service.. they even let me use a car just in case I needed to get the kids from school. The tech who worked on my car even talked to me when I picked it up. I will be back, and will recommend this place to all my friends.... more

I did some checking around the office and was told Precision Motorworks was the best place to take my 2005 Volvo V70XC. I'm very glad to have a shop close by my work, plus I saved alot of money from not having to take it to the Dealership for my ""Check Engine"" Light. Only took a few days, and they gave me a Loaner Car too. Thank You! I will be back in to get that Timing Belt done before Summer :) more

I had called around several BMW type repair shops... Rocco at Precision Motorworks was the first guy who didn't talk to me like a dumb woman, it was almost like I was a friend of the family asking him for advice. Both Rocco and I think Karl? Had me and my daughter at ease with a genuine ""Hello"" as we entered the shop. I'm so glad I now have a new place to bring my car in for work, instead of waiting on someone at the dealer to find the time to call me back!!! Thank You!!! And I will be back next month for those Front Brakes! more

Karl & John is a rare breed in the automotive repair business. He's honest, affordable, and reliable. I've taken my Cadillac CTS to him twice and he saved me $500 this last trip compared to other shops. Definitely recommend! more

Karl & John are amazing! I brought in a non-running Honda Accord. Jason and team diagnosed and fixed it for me the same day. I was looking to get rid of the vehicle and he was nice enough to keep it in his lot for a couple days before the donation service picked it up. Talk about going above and beyond! My 5 year old kid played with the air conditioning buttons off my 2006 bmw and he kind of scrambled every thing up so I decided to go fix that as soon as possible cause you know summer is coming and I don?t want to be without AC in summer days. I went to Precision Motorworks cause I a friend recommended them. It took the Vic (I think that was his name) like 10 minutes to analyze and solve my problem and the price was lower then I had ever expected. I like them a lot and I strongly recommend them more

Ive taken my 2004 Volvo S60R to Precision 3 different times for a heater core, clutch replacement, and 105k service. The first time i took it to them i called around several places and went there first because they had the best price quote. However now i just take it to them first - i dont even bother calling anyone else. John the owner and Carl the guy up front are always really pleasent and willing to talk. I like to do some of my own work on the car and therefor ask LOTs of questions and advice - they are always willing to provide me with their explanations and opinions. Greg their Volvo mechanic knows his volvos in and out and does great work - he even takes the time to explain the work he did, how he did it, and advise on any additional things to look/watch for in the future. He shows me the old parts and what happened to them. I feel he gives me his honest opinion on what may need to be done in the future. For instance i noticed a small amount of play in my steering only at certain angles. He found that the front swaybar endlink was slightly worn. He told me ""if it was his car - he wouldnt worry about it and it should be fine for quite a while longer."" A place that makes money from fixing broken cars telling me to wait on a repair they could make another buck on is refreshing! For as long as I own my beloved Volvo (or BMW or Audi for that matter) I will have my work done there. They are usually able to take the car in within a day or two, give me a loaner, and have my car ready the same or next day. They are professional, knowledgable, and reasonably priced. I feel lucky to have found these guys! I would recommend anyone take their Volvo there more

I took my 2005 BMW M3 for inspection at Precision Motorworks for the 1st time. They did an amazing work checked every thing I wanted (breaks, steering, electronics etc). The team is very professional, top notch work. I highly recommend Precision Motorworks to whoever looking for a highly qualified repair shop. more

Can truly see why this business has such high reviews by the experience I had today. Karl took the time today to evaluate and test drive my car for a possible clutch replacement. After driving my car, he felt that my clutch had more life left in it and advised me to wait before getting it replaced. I can't believe how honest and thorough he was...and he did it all for free. I will, without a doubt, be back there for any service that my 2000 BMW might need in the future...A++++ more

I was so pleased with the Precision Motorworks sensibility and honesty. I brought my car in with an idling problem and since it was only a fallen hose, the service was free. This was unexpected and because I wasn't taken advantage of, it has gained my future service and I'm bringing another friend along for the great service. Thank you. more

Overall, very satisfied with my experience with PRECISION MOTORWORKS. They re-did my suspension system and cv axles, plus the oil and a few belts while they were at it. We even had a misunderstanding during the process, and they went out of their way with excellent customer service to make sure I left a happy customer. They're without a doubt an honest and customer friendly shop (as we all know that is definitely important when deciding where to get a car fixed up!). more

The Team at Precision is fantastic. I found them when my S80 needed brakes replaced, they did a great job and won business while i lived in Seattle. No matter the issue, I could swing in, get educated pretty quickly and make a decision, the prices they quote are more than fair, and in most cases turned out to be the best in town. Ya, the loaner cars are older, but if you need one it's yours and that is most appreciated. Vic at the front desk is a pretty cool guy and respects anyone who walks into his shop, you are treated very well and they explain everything without any sales pressure. Highly recommend the Precision Team to anyone with a Volvo or BMW, these guys know what they are doing and its the same guys that have been there forever. more

Being a single girl, the thing i hate most is dealing with auto repair shops !!!!! I have to admit i know nothing about cars, that being said i never know if i'm being taken advantage of. So my car said i was low on coolant so i stopped at my old auto repair shop and they told me i would need $1,700.00 of work to fix the coolant leak. So i decided to get a second opinon at PRECISION MOTORWORKS and low and behold they found a hose was leaking and it only cost me $300.00 yay !!!! AND THEY GAVE ME A FREE LOANER CAR, SO I COULD GO TO WORK. All i can say is GIVE THESE GUYS A TRY ITS WORTH IT !!!!!!! more

I have going to Precision motor works sense they open at the location they are at know. would say over seven years their front desk and front door is open to anyone they have save me money on repairs. BEST PART ABOUT THEM IS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE HONESTY. They are great people. more
