Scared my buyer away over minor issues 5/6/2011

The guy who performed the inspection exaggerated the extent of problems. He told the buyer that the home had faulty wiring that could potentially burn the house down when it was just a $35 fuse that needed to be replaced. He also said there were possibly bats in the attic with no evidence to back it up. These remarks and others had my buyer run to the hills. I hired a true professional who has been in business for over 24 years and he found about $200 worth of repairs and said the home was in great condition. more

Best Home Inspection Company, They Go Above and Beyond 10/26/2006

The home we were buying was only a few years old, so I wasnt expecting to find much wrong. We had the house inspected simply for peace of mind. Chris climbed into the attic and found that there was not enough ventilation and the plywood roof backing was covered with mold. This would have caused a huge problem for us down the road when the roof needed to be replaced years before its time! Pros: The inspection was very thorough. The inspector covered everything. more
