I hired PowerVac to clean my ducts, at the recommendation of the company that was installing my new furnace. They were very polite. They showed up on time, and waited for me when I wasn't. I had intended to leave a door unlocked for them, but out of habit I relocked it without thinking. When they arrived and couldn't get in, they called me to let me know, rather that just leaving. Aside from their excellent customer service, they also did a good job cleaning the ducts, and left my house in good shape. I'm happy with the service I received. more

The fellow that came to do the cleaning from PowerVac did not do what I asked. He came to clean the furnace and the ducts, and I had asked him to show me the filters when he had pulled them out as I had wanted to see them, but he did not show them to me. He must have had them out at some point, but before I knew it he told me he had them in and all closed up so he couldn't show them to me. Then he said that to hook up the vacuum to the furnace he would have to gut a hole in the furnace. Well, there was already a spot that he was going to use. It was hard for me to get down the basement stars where the furnace is because he had all his tools and a huge pipe going down them. He said he taped the spot up 3 times, but when I was able to go down and look he did not tape it up 3 times. It didn't even look like he had gotten to it. more
