I love Powell Frame Shop!! I had some pictures I wanted framed as a gift for my daughter for her Basic Training Graduation from the US Army. We had some art work we wanted framed so we began our search for an honest, quality frame shop. After speaking with and getting quotes from about 4 different frame shops we decided to go with Powell's. They answered everything correctly (no dry setting, conservation glass, acid fee materials, etc.) and didn't try to sell it as an upgrade, its what they suggested. Their prices were upwards of 50% less than other quotes and their quality was 100% better than others. They have an eye for ""attention to detail"". Their shop is located in the back of their home but its stocked better than a lot of ""big box"" frame shops. If quality, honesty, integrity, unbelievable service (they are very personable, polite, best service you'll ever experience, genuine concern for your art) and prices are what your looking for give Mr. & Mrs. Powell a call. I heard about Powell's Frame Shop through a friend 3 years ago - since then i've taken more than 20 pieces of art to Mr. Powell. Located in Garner - Mr. Powell works out of the back of his home and is approx 15% less expensive than any framer I've worked with in the Triangle area. Offers exceptional quality with a family like customer service approach to doing business that you just don't see very often.
