My Russian friends who accompanied me there claim that the food is like their grandmothers used to make. The borsch (beet soup) is simple but excellent.
There don't seem to be any lunch specials or deals, so for lunch it can be a bit pricey. For dinner, prices are reasonable.
Small place. Friendly staff. Most customers seem to be repeats.
