I have seen Dr. Polinger for many things over the past few years! She is easy to get in to see quickly from day you call, takes many insurances, and is very good at what she does....

I have seen Dr. Polinger for many things over the past few years! She is easy to get in to see quickly from day you call, takes many insurances, and is very good at what she does. Her staff was helpful and she always knows how to fix the problem! I have sent many family and friends to her, too. I highly recommend her! more

I didn't go to her for cosmetic purposes but I did want her to see if any of my moles and/or skin tags might be pre cancerous. Although she did momentarily view them & told me not to worry. She said they're hereditery & assured me they were not precancerous, HOWEVER, as I was thanking her & walking out, I turned to look at her & she was rolling her eyes at the nurse!!! Was she being sarcastic & just wanted to get rid of me?? Now I'm not sure if I got a professional diagnosis cause I wasn't looking for expensive cosmetics!! more

What a mistake.. I went to see her for Botox. I had issues with crowsfeet.First of all I questioned her method. She injects from the stool and asked me to place my back against wall. I thought well she is 70ish I was scared that she did not have a steady hand. I should have walked out then. I probably deserve what happened. My crowsfeet are still very visible. However, leftside of face has indention around eye ball like a hollow look and my eyebrows have lowered to give me a frown hollow look when I laugh. I just want to cry! She iject in my cheek area which was different. Please do not see her for cosmetic issues she is a AWEFUL!! more

I've never bothered to review but it was so bad I felt I had 5/4/2012

It was so bad I felt like I had to write a warning. The reviews are either really really bad, or overly good. Believe the bad ones. A little scrutiny and searching on the internet reveals the good reviews are fake, and she needs them to cover up. This doctor is out to make money and it's really a scam - it's so smooth and you hardly realize you are getting fleeced. I think most patients never figure it out. Disorganized and long waits, abrupt staff. more

Polinger ruined my face 3/1/2012

I came to this so called doctor to do my Radiesse volumizing fillers to my smile lines. After more that 1 hour of waiting, I was injected one regular and one bigger syringe (I paid around $1000) right into my cheeks, much higher than my lines were. As a result ? I look like a ?drug-using alcoholic? now with swollen cheeks, mounds under my cheekbonds and HUGE nasolabial lines. When I came next time to say how upset I was about the result and to ask for help, she started shouting at me proclaiming herself ?the best doctor in Sugar Land?. I started my own research on what I could do with my ugly swollen face, I consulted with 5 different doctors without mentioning her name, and 5 of them proved that the result was terrible and the procedure was definitely done WRONG! Moreover, all specialists proved my suspicions that in my 33 I didn't need as much as she had injected and said that in this situation I only could pray that Polinger didn't inject permanent fillers. As for now, I have to wait 1 year to have my face back. I will really appreciate if somebody can advise me what to do in this situation. more

Expert Dermatologist 2/22/2012

I went to have an irritation looked it that was causing me to itch and was really bothering me. Dr. Polinger looked at it and was able to diagnose and prescribe a medication to treat it and since visiting her and her treatments it has not returned. more

Best Dermatologist 1/23/2012

After seeing Dr. Polinger for a rash that would not go away, the visit with her and her diagnosis and treatments have kept the rash from returning. more

Great Dermatologist! 11/28/2011

I went to Dr. Poilinger to have a skin irritation that I had on my arm that would come and go, Dr. Polinger was able to diagnose and prescribe some topical cream to treat the problem and I have not had it return. more

Radiesse? Be aware!!!! 10/4/2011

She is friendly, but only when the things go well!!! Last time she over injected me with Radiesse at one side of my face. My face was distorted and looked like a freak. I went back to follow up. She wouldn't even admit it and left me in desperation. more

I have been seeing Dr. Polinger for years now and she is definately the best. I never have complaints about her or her staff. Her new office in Sugar Land is clean and nice. You do not even have to worry about parking garages- you park in front and walk right in. She is knowledgeable in all the new and upcoming things and she can answer any questions you have! You must see this doctor!! more

I have seen Dr. Polinger for various things from acne to cosmetic procedures. She is knowledgeable in all the up and coming things and knows what works to help any skin problem you have. Her office in Sugar Land is new and very clean with people that are very kind and friendly. There is minimal waiting and if you have a need that's urgent they fit you in-same day! You should see this doctor!! more

She's simply the best 6/28/2011

in the last 20 years, I've gone to 4 other dermatologist to address my psoriasis. Unfortunately, the effects of their intervention was fleeting, and I'd have to start the process over and over again. After seeing how Dr. Polinger cured my wife, who had several failed attempts using other dermatologist for a severe case of facial skin disorder, I began seeing Dr Polinger a little over a year ago. The result simply have been amazing. She is extremely likeable, engaging, polite and professional. She knows her field of expertise: a graduate of Johns Hopkins, taught at Harvard, and has been a leading dermatologist in the area. I have referred many of my friends and family members to her. Without exception, they have had similar experiences as I have. The poor reviews on her that I've read on this site must be about another Dr. Polinger. Those simply arent true. more

She almost killed me 6/15/2011

Her mis-diagnosis of a classic melanoma as ""a blood vessel that is to close to the surface"" resulted in two operations, 6 weeks of radiation, a year of chemo (actually interferon) and a life of doubt. If there really is a devil, I've met her and her name is Iris Polinger! Rude, angry, and incompetent is a lethal combination and its an exact description of Iris Polinger. Run as fast as you can! more

Great Dr. Highly Recommend 3/9/2011

I went to Dr. Polinger years ago to have spider veins removed. She did an excelent job. I visited her recently for cosmetic filler injections. She did an EXCELLENT job. Her staff was courtesous and kind. I had been to a medspa about a year ago and they did nothing but charge me money. It's a week after the procedure and I am grateful to Dr. Polinger for her expertise and training. She did an excellent job. I look 10 to 15 years younger because of Dr. Polinger. I HIGHLY recommend this dermatologist. more

I'VE SEEN DR.POLINGER FOR QUITE SOME TIME AND I AM VERY HAPPY WITH HER TREATMENTS. SHE HAS HELPED ME MY PROBLEM AROUND MY FACE. IT LOOKS AND FEELS SOOOOO MUCH BETTER. NOT TO MENTION WITH THE HELP OF HER WONDERFUL MAKE UP. I AM SO GLAD THAT I FOUND SUCH A GREAT DOCTOR. I HAVE ALSO TAKEN MY SON TO SEE HER FOR HIS ECZEMA. HE HAD A VERY BAD CASE OF IT UNTIL SHE TREATED HIM WITH TOPICAL CREAMS TO APPLY. IT CLEARED IT UP AND HAS NOT HAD A CASE OF IT SINCE. THANK YOU DR. POLINGER FOR YOUR HELP AND CARING. DO NOT SEE HER!!!!!!!!! 8/21/2008

We went to dr. plinger tuesday the 19. this so call dr. told us we had gotten a virus from being around kids, not 'CHICKEN POX"" so she prescribe two different types of cream to put on. The next day the bumps had spread more then ever, so we rush to another dr. OUR WORSE NIGHTMARES HAD JUST CAME TRUE!!!!we HAVE the 'CHICKEN POX' and not some VIRUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the cream that dr. polinger gave us, a STEROID and all it did was feed the pox!!!!!!
