POCO Solar Energy Inc. installed a solar panel for us. The installation went pretty well. The people are very nice and it's a good service. The only thing you need to watch is the project management. That was a little lacking from my perspective. But overall, they did fairly good. more

POCO Solar Energy installed both my pool solar panels and the water base on my TV solar. That was for the electric in my house. I got three or four quotes from different parties and the fact that they could do a combination of the pool as well as the TV solar meant we could negotiate a better deal. Combining your different solar systems together is the best way to do it. During the installation, they got on with it and did everything properly. I have nothing against them. more

POCO Solar Energy Inc. put a new PV solar panel in. Part of the project was to relocate the existing solar panel from the swimming pool. So it was a little more complicated in the sense that they had to maximize use of the solar panel for the roof. They did a very good job in terms of determining the best location. Everything went fine. There were some minor hiccups, but other than that everything went okay. The solar panel for the swimming pool was also installed by them a while back. I'm interested in PV panels. I like sun power and the work that they do for sun power. more

I've already recommended POCO Solar Energy to four or so other people. I went with POCO for my pool for four or five years and then I just did the installation of solar panels on my house with them around February or March. The installation was excellent. I was impressed by the amount of work and the amount of people and all their finishing touches, which were really nice. In part, I've stayed with POCO out of customer loyalty to them. I've been very happy with them through the years. Also, I like the fact that the price for being a long term customer is a better deal. I also knew that their crew would move the pool panels and reattach them, which is what I wanted done. They took care of all of that. They are an extremely professional service. They're very low key on the sales pitch and very helpful. They're available by phone for numerous ongoing questions you have. And it turned out that they install the best of the panels on the market. more

Overall, POCO Solar Energy Inc. does a great job with the installation of solar systems and solar panels. However, when I worked with them, there were several communication issues regarding the installation appointments. When the crew came to install, they didn't know they had to take everything off the roof. They had to verify the job, and we had to schedule another day for them to come back. When we set a new date, they showed up a week earlier than scheduled, so they had to come back at yet another time. Aside from these hiccups in communication, they did a good job with the actual installation. If you use them, just be very clear with them, and make sure you get everything in writing to avoid misunderstandings. more

I have been a customer with Poco for a long time (~12 years). Their product has been fine, although needs leak repair regularly (every other couple years)... some is to be expected given the 24/7 exposure to the elements. A fair expectation is that, when there is a needed repair, that they will repair in a reasonable time period. CAUTION:: please note that if you have a repair in need now - EXPECT TO WAIT ONE MONTH!!!! really, last i checked this is peak season and Poco needs to be able to accommodate the seasonality of business rather than offer excuses to customers about their lack of resources. GET PROPERLY RESOURCED SO YOU DON'T INCONVENIENCE YOUR CUSTOMERS TO SAVE YOU MONEY. I bet it's a one week lead time to install... but, be careful, ONE MONTH LEADTIME IF YOU NEED HELP OR REPAIR!! POCO -- please make appropriate resource adjustments so as not to put your customers in a hostage position. more

We have used Poco Solar since they installed our system over 5 years ago. The product is top knotch. The service goes above and byond expectation. Today we had Darwin out for our winterization, despite a very steep roof and rain he was here, early! Not only does he do a great job, he leaves detailed notes on what he did, and what we need to have done. In addtion this trip, he noticed 2 blocked downspouts and cleaned them! What a guy! We look forward to many years ahead enjoying our pocosolar heated pool from May to October more

9 year old installation of 8 roof panels and still ticking. great installation and service, up to 90 degree heat in summer, no heater. Poco Solar installed on time and on budget. 9 years later I have plugged up 8 small leaks myself with an easy to use kit they provide. Looking forward to another hot season. Nice people! more

We first used POCO Solar Energy Inc. at our old house to install solar in our pool. We had a few companies out and POCO was the only company who could configure the panels in a way not to make the house look awful from the front. We used POCO again when we moved to our new house to install solar in our new pool. They come out and replace panels as needed, and if there's ever an issue, they come out right away to help. We really like the serviceman who comes out every year to start it up and to shut it down. Everyone is great on the phone, and the salespeople too. All around it was a very good experience. POCO Solar Energy were pretty good. They had some problems towards the end, when they tried to do something with the pump for our pool and sent out different people three times to work on it. We had them install solar for our house and the pool and have had it for about a year this July. Overall, we were happy. It was really pretty good. more

The salesman from POCO Solar Energy was very straightforward and explained everything well to people not familiar with the process. They went through the process explicitly and offered a reasonable price for the best choice for my area in panels. They told me what exactly I should get and I got it. Scheduling was easy and since I couldn't give a specific date, I had to change the scheduling 2 or 3 times, but once we were ready they came out. Everything went smoothly. I've saved at least 25 just by working with them. Not too many contractors work the way that they do. more

We called POCO Solar Energy Inc. to get a quote on having a solar panel installed in our pool and they called back very quickly the following week. We really knew nothing about solar panels and they explained the process very nicely, so nicely that we immediately decided to get them installed without looking for another bid. They were very professional, efficient, and did a really nice job. They left the space very clean. more

I had a really good experience with POCO Solar Energy. They have good service. We just had a little issue with some of the equipment, but they're taking care of it. There were a few issues with the inverter, which has cost me some money and downtime, but they're making good for it. They will get a new inverter out, and they're doing a good job of taking care of me, even though it was not their fault. more

I was amazed that POCO Solar Energy came out on the weekend at a time that was convinced for us, since we work and have children. I know he has two grandchildren, yet he rearranged his weekend to work around our schedule. His presentation was very detail-oriented and professional. He didn't let one single question go unanswered. When we emailed him questions, he would reply with an answer within an hour. Out of three companies, we decided to go with POCO because of the great presentation, the great customer service they provided throughout the process and because of all of the wonderful people working there. We spoke to him in November and he checked into all of the tax credits that would be available to us, and when the best time would be to do the work and he recommended the best date in order to collect all of the available tax credits. We chose them, because it was an all in one stop with them. This was a professional engineering job, and POCO did the job to our complete satisfaction. They are extremely professional and truly cater to their customers's needs. They are ideal people to work with. They cover everything-your immediate energy needs as well as any future needs. We first hired POCO Solar Energy after meeting with a few different companies. They first meet for a consultation. They give an amazing presentation. The amount of information they provide along with the charts and graphs they bring to the table far exceeds that of the other companies. They installed a certain number of panels. We wanted to see what the effects were. We were very pleased with the results so we went ahead and had POCO back to install five more panels, since we had room for them.
