I first found them through groupon and i signed a contract for there services with the understanding that i can cancel with no problem whenever i want. 8 months later after paying them hundreds of dollars i decide to cancel and im still getting charged. Trying to get the manager is a joke because she is never available. So im filing fraud charges with my bank! You can never get someone to talk to you when it deals with your money! more

I purchased Groupon for 10 services and had a consultation with one of their members who explained that photo facial session will be 20 minutes and a receptionist would call you tomorrow morning to schedule an appointments and it’s been 2 weeks no call from them so I called and again got the same reply and when I told her that you said the same thing 2 weeks ago, she asked me a question that if I am a member, and after knowing that I am not, she said photo facial is only for 15 minutes for guest and for members it is for 20 minutes and my receptionist will call tomorrow in the morning. That is so disappointing and shows that they do NOT need the guests to become their members by limiting the treatment time which doesn't give you the exact results. I am very disappointed and would never recommend to anyone, was thinking of becoming a member but after all this the question doesn't arise! more

They make you pay extra for what seems to be the main component of making these fat burning machines work, which is a body bag that retains your heat inside of the machines so it s basically like a little sauna in a bag. I went here for two months and they were conveniently sold out of the body bags and couldn t get more, the entire two months.... I had a Groupon and needed to use it up, so I couldn t wait until after they received another order of these body bags. I was also left in the body wrap room for over an hour, when it should take 20 minutes, but my arms were so tightly wrapped that I couldn t get them out for some time. When I finally was able to get free and walked up to the front desk to say that I thought I had been forgotten, there was no apology at all, the girl just asked me if I wanted to do another treatment. I would absolutely never recommend this place to anyone I know, and in fact have done quite the opposite. After going there twice a week for almost two months, there were absolutely no changes in my body weight, firmness or anything at all. It was two hours a week for eight weeks completely wasted, not to mention the money I paid... more

Great place! The girl who showed me around didn't REALLY know what she was talking about...as far as skin goes. I doubt many people would notice that or care though. She was very polite, confident, and the place has a good atmosphere. more

Horrible horrible place - they bait and switch on the groupons deal by demanding you purchase products that are not even necessary - they charge a tanning tax though you are not utilizing tanning equipment and they do not tell you about it - they do not honor their cancellation policy and steal back the signed contract thinking you have no other recourse - some staff is inept and careless with equipment and temperature environment - many complaints in many social networks...already second ownership as the underhanded practices of the previous owner just sunk him....the new owner is also following the same underhanded and scamming practices -I DO NOT WANT TO GIVE IT ANY STARS, ONLY COW PIES BUT THE SYSTEM WILL NOT LET ME POST OTHERWISE - THEY DO NOT DESERVE EVEN ONE STAR!!! THE COMMENTS BELOW FROM PREVIOUS OWNERSHIP MUST BE FROM THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES OR THE PLACE WOULD NOT HAVE SHUT DOWN!!!! more

I love this place. My best friend had told me about it and raved so I had to check it out. We both have fibromyalgia and the services offered here really help to relieve the pain and just generally relax us. I live clear over in Milwaukee, but making the drive out here is worth it. more

Caring, helpful, fun 6/10/2011

I love the Planet Beach Contempo Spa! Everyone that works there has been so caring, helpful and fun. I was amazed that I can go to the spa as much as I want and just pay a monthly membership. I love the hydro steam station, it has really helped me with my skin. I was also really surprised about all the light therapy option since I have sensitive skin and have to be really careful about any chemicals etc. I wouldn't normally be able to go to a spa. Planet Beach really is an exceptional place. more

I can actually say I've lost weight in from the hydration chamber and my face has cleared up!! The staff go our of their way to accommodate your needs and schedule. I love this place! more

Great spot to relax 5/18/2011

Great spot to relax and not feel like you are always going to have to be asked to pay extra for this, or upgrade for more $$ to that. Everything is included for one monthly cost so you can just go and enjoy! Great for those that can go everyday for some ""me time"" or just one time a month is less than you would pay for any service at a spa. more

BEWARE SCAM RIP OFF 4/15/2011

BEWARE OF GIVING ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION HERE!!!! They scheduled a ""paperwork"" appointment and asked me to come back for the tour and trial, which was not described to me on the phone. Harley, the ""manager"" was rude and unprofessional. I think they are trying to get information from people for illegal reasons. I am filing a police investigation and reporting to the BBB. BEWARE BEWARE! Do your research before you go. I am not the only one! more
