My last two jobs have had Pizzicato's nearby, which makes for some yummy lunchtime eating. The great thing about Pizzicato is that you can run in, buy a slice and be eating warm gooey pizza in no time flat. Pizzicato also has some amazing salads and other non-pizza options. If I'm not in a pizza mood, I'll normally opt for their hummus plate. Wow! This thing is big...great for leftovers or to share with a friend. But beware...this hummus knows the meaning of the word garlic. It is literally spicy with garlic, but oh, so good. The plate includes a good serving of hummus, a ton of warm, herbed flatbread, feta chunks, hot peppers and a tomato bruschetta topping. So many choices and all are great. Prices are very reasonable, starting at $2.50 for a huge slice of pizza. Yum.
