Someone said they'd been going to Pizzazz for 28 years and the grilled chicken salad is not what it used to be. Well maybe it used to come with a back massage because I think it's delicious! My friends and I have been going there for 10+ years, and I hope one day we'll be old, senile, and still excited about that salad! more

Not what it use to be 5/14/2011

If you are used to the old Pizzazz, don't get your hopes up. The old Pizzazz was known for the best Grilled Chicken Salad in the area. Huge chunks of warm grilled chicken, fresh sliced roma tomatoes, toppled over with mozzarella cheese was worth a premium price for a salad. If you were a long time customer, like me (28 years), you will be disappointed. more

In a town full of corner pizza, pasta and sub joints. 4/26/2009

I'm in town for work, looking for the local non-chain eatery and I stumbled across this gem. Don't expect the ""hot peppers"" to be hot, they are peppercini, but the crust is outstanding, the red sauce good and the toppings top-notch. It has become an instant tradition. Pros: wonderful pizza crust. Cons: peppercini is not a hot-pepper. more

Bustling college restaurant 2/25/2007

I love Pizazz because it has a great atmosphere. There are college kids, familys, groups of women, men at the bar, couples and its just loud enough that you can talk without being heard, but without yelling. They offer a variety of sauces, sandwiches, and toppings for pizza. You can design your own. Its awesome. I often mix sauces too. Downstairs (where the restrooms are) there is what looks like a club, I think they have dancing on weekends after the restaurant is closed. Pros: variety of sauces and toppings / designing your own pasta, pizza and sandwiches more

Pizzazz Pizza is one of the best 5/26/2006

My family and I are very loyal customers to this restaurant, Pizzazz Pizza. This particular location is the first of the two with the same name. The Mayfield Village location makes a fantastic meatball sandwich, though the main reason for our continuous patronage bi-weekly over the past decades has been their pizza, which we order ""extra thick"" and always for pizza anywhere emphasize ""well cooked (and done perfectly, just the way you like it personally)."" Salads excellent, house dressing as good as any, phenomenal. Consistency of quality very, very good each and every time we order what we want, we know exactly what we will get. Employees always friendly and conscientious to service and the needs of the customer. Pros: Tomato sauce, Under $10/person, Pizza Cons: Busy at dinner, Size of the place, Parking not best more

Great food! 6/16/2005

Pizzazz has the best food! The chicken salads are wonderful - the dressing is the best. I love the garlic wedges dipped in the dressing. The pizzas are also very tasty. The restaurant is clean and neat. The only downside is the small parking lot, but it's well worth finding a place to park in order to either eat here or pick food up to take home. more

MMMMMMMM mmmmmmmm GOOD!!! 6/4/2005

In the heart of Mayfield Village, Pizzazz is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been too! They offer a lil something for everyone (pizza, calzones, salads, subs, & pasta) and the quality of their food is EXCELLENT! Their prices are very affordable as well. They have a killer meatball sub that includes chips for only $4.50 and offer some nice sized dinners (grilled chicken, a side of pasta and salad) for around 9 dollars. The people that work there are very friendly, and when you call and place a carry-out order they get it ready in no time!!! more

Had to wait awhile to sit--but well worth it.. the service is great--my waitress made us feel right at home--everyone there seems to know everybody..I will HIGHLY recommend this place to all my friends--GREAT WORK PIZZAZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!! excellent prices too!! Pros: service, food, inexpensive Cons: parking more

Ignore the screaming babies 5/15/2002

There will be a screaming baby next to you. And if cigarette smoke bothers you, you may find that the ventalation here doesn't work so well. But the wood-fired pizza is outstanding, no matter what toppings you get. This is the ultimate order: a double dinner salad with provolone cheese, topped with steamed mushrooms, brocolli and artichokes. The house Italian dressing is excellent, but the salad's even better topped with hot marinara sauce. All for about $6. Great deal. more
