Not a lot of choice... 5/14/2007

With the DC Grill usually packed you don't have many options in Sammamish. The kitchen is very small so you have to wait forever for your food. Service is poor and the food is average. more

Average food, below average service 11/19/2006

Ale House has consistently average food, sometimes poor. The only constant is the service, which is always poor. For excellent service and food, cross 228th to Lanponi Thai. You will not be disappointed there. However, if you find yourself desperate for a drink one night (and DC's Grill has already closed), Ale House is one of the Plateau's only options. more

Family friendly local pub 3/20/2006

The food is decent, the service is pretty good, and they have a good selection of beers and wines. If you live on the Plateau, this may become a staple restaurant for you like it has for me and my family. It's the only place (within 5 minutes drive)I know I can go to where I can have a beer with my meal, my kids have a menu (and crayons for drawing), and watch some football/baseball/basketball with the 4-5 TV's they have. I recommend it. more

The only decent place to get a drink... 6/11/2004

If you happen to find yourself in Sammamish and want a drink your options are pretty limited. Fortunately, there is the Pine Lake Ale House. They have a lot of good beers on tap, a good wine list and good bar food. Unfortunately, they are pretty pricy as far as bars go. But how much can you ask when your only other option is to get a drink at the Mexican restaurant across the street. more
