With the possibility of slots coming to Maryland out the window, this place has not gotten the attention it so deserved. Too bad too, now people and their revenue are leaving the state to go to Charlestown West Virginia. Too bad since place would have been amazing. At this point, it looks like we may even lose the Preakness race, what a shame!! more

can't wait for the renovations 8/5/2005

If you've ever watched the Preakness,you saw parts of Pimlico race track. Every year it is held there mid May and the 'big thing' in Baltimore besides football and baseball. Personally,I can't believe they have it when the palce is such a mess,but so be it. It was bought by a new owner and they promised big renovations,so I'm hopeful. But if you like horse racing in MD,this is the place to be. more

The Pimlico race track hosts the Preakness each year, but it has races most weekends and several special events throughout the year. My kids especially love the kids' days, which feature pony rides and caricaturists, in addition to regular racing. Be sure to place a bet to up the excitement! more
