Had my eye liner/lip liner done. Painful, faded within months. Did not just fade away, my eyes faded to bright pink. Eyes have been sore for years. Hurts to apply eye liner, which I now HAVE to wear because my eyes are pink. Owner makes you sign 8-9 legal papers, won't take responsibility and offer refund. Have been told by other permanent makeup artists will cost me $400/hour to correct. NOT PERMANENT. Need boosts annually. I'm out $880. None of her five licenses she showed me covers perm makeup. This is treated as tattoo art and she needs to be licensed with health dept in town she performs services. She had no license in Winthrop when she worked on me out of someone's house. I will be filing complaints. My first one to http://www.mass.gov/ ocabr/docs/ dpl/complaint.pdf I will also be calling North Shore Community College where she was Cosm Dept Chair when she did my services in 2007. I agree with other reviews that say she is difficult to deal with if you are unhappy, which is why she makes you sign so much at the onset. Be very careful before you agree to have her work on you. After fighting with her and her claims analyst for months, she finally offered me a refund of my $880, but only if I sign a full release of liability, promise not to say or post anything negative about Pigmenta, promise to remove all bad reviews written thus far, and promise not to ever mention the agreement. Makes me wonder how many other people she may have botched, and then paid off so others don't hear about it. Still debating whether or not it's worth signing and getting my money back after all the time and energy spent fighting with her for my refund. I think I might let her keep the money, and spend the remainder of my time filing complaints against her so that the proper authorities are aware of her business practice. Good luck and thank you for reading!
