This is not a place you go to all the time unless you really like pot pies. With that said, their pies are scrumptious. I usually get the Mediterranean since I'm big on artichokes, but their classic chicken and steak and potato are both safe bets. The menu is reasonably priced.
The one thing about this place is that it feels like it should be a nice little family restaurant. Every time I've been into Pies and Pints, there have been children milling around their parents and grandparents, which isn't a bad thing, but they appear rather bored and restless. If they had something on the menu geared toward kids or just something for the kids to do, it would be more family friendly. However, this apparently hasn't stopped people from taking their children there.
