We visited this museum a while ago. There were a variety of items that were significant in Philly's history. My kids seem to remember two things. One is Mike Schmidt's baseball jersey. Sports things always stick in the kids minds! The other was the large map of the Philly area that you could walk all over, visiting different places and reading about them on a pamphlet that went with the walk. They really liked that! It was interesting. I recall that there were displays on many of the ethnic groups that have been important to Philly over the years and I think this is where we saw many of the Norman Rockwell magazine cover paintings, too. more
