Fabulous Salon in the Heights! 8/1/2008

Petite Salon Ongele was an excellent find- one that I wish I had discovered years ago.\r Katy and Ongele are such a fabulous team! If I could afford it, I'd go at least once a week.\r I have really unmanageable, and boring hair, but I always look like a million bucks when I walk out of there.\r Such a cute place in an excellent location. You can't beat the service, the atmosphere or the stylists.\r These gals are the best! Pros: Location, The lovely ladies Cons: Nothing! more

Big City Cuts, Little Salon 8/1/2008

After moving here from Vancouver/LA/Boston I thought I'd never find a good hairstylist again (I've had some seriously ho-hum cuts in some top Houston salons...) but this place has been fantastic. Ongele and Katie really know what their doing - modern cuts, subtle color and fun conversations while they're at it. Nice intimate setting where you can really relax. I recommend this salon to all my friends...love it! Pros: Cuts, Color, Atmosphere, Personality Cons: Ongele books up quickly! more

Experienced hairstylists!!!!! 7/24/2008

Ongele and Katie are soooo awesome!!! I have very very! thick and dry hair. Katie was so patient with me and took the time to talk to me about styles that would look great with my face frame. She also suggested a darker color that wouldn't look so dull on me. She did such a great job!!! They also have this treatment called a power dose that helps with keeping my color longer and i loved it!!! I will be coming back and recommending this to everyone. Thanks Katie!!!! Pros: Loreal salon, experienced stylists, down to earth, great enviroment Cons: NONE! more
