DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I can't say one good thing about Perla's. I waited all day for a service person to show up at my house. When he didn't arrive by 2pm I called and spoke with young Rocco who said he'd have the service person call. When nobody called by 3pm I called and older Rocco told me that he left a voicemail message earlier in the day that the repair person was not coming but there was no message.
Six weeks later the service person shows up and charges me like $150 for a five minute diagnosis - nothing was fixed but he said they'd get back to me on a price and would credit half of the diagnostic fee toward repair or purchase.
It's over three weeks later and I have literally six calls in to Perla's and they won't even call me back. I've only gotten to talk to someone twice and both times she told me the person I had to speak with was on the other line and would call me right back, which never happened.
Their voicemail message boxes are full now and you can't even leave a message.
They just want to charge you a diagnostic fee which only takes a few minutes of work and they are happy just to keep that because there's no time involved. They have no interest in doing repairs or selling you anything new.
I'm going to call the retailers they represent as a dealer to explain how Perla's does (or should I say doesn't) do business.
I'm also going to file a civil lawsuit for treble damages for the diagnostic fee and a criminal lawsuit for violation of UDAP statutes. I'm not doing it for the money but rather to put this company on notice that they can't do business this way.
See how many other bad reviews they have. Perla's could have saved themselves a lot of trouble by just doing the right thing.
