Best

Great atmosphere being right on the beach on Alki - went there once after a soccer tournament and have gone there every time I've been in West Seattle since - well worth the trip!

The Greeks do it Right! 11/27/2002

Seriously, I've never had better pizza anywhere, ever! The Greeks know how to do it right - feta cheese, sunflower seeds, spinach and shredded pepperoni! I live on the Eastside but we venture to the original Pegasus on Alki a few times per month - it's the best pizza with the best ambiance & view! Thank you Tom for making that special of yours! It's the best! Pros: Tom's Special, Greek Salad, Shredded Pepperoni more

White Sandy Beaches & the Best in Town 10/31/2002

I have yet to find a better pizza anywhere in Seattle! (And yes, Pegasus is located IN Seattle. Us West-Seattlites may have our own world accross the water, but it's within city limits). Though you may encouter a bit of a wait on a sunny Sunday afternoon, the food is well worth it! Aside from wonderful specialty pizzas, the Greek and seafood salads are to die for! You also have a beautiful view of the Seattle waterfront and the perfect setting for an after dinner stroll along Seattle's only beatutiful white sandy beach. Pros: THE BEST PIZZA!!!, affordable, great location Cons: parking in the summer, seasonal crowds more

Yummy Pizza! 9/4/2002

We just went here last weekend in a group of 11 for my birthday. I loved it!! The pizza was REALLY good, the salads are great, and the garlic feta bread is excellent. The views of the water are to die for, and if you get a chance, go right when the sun is going down. The view from Alki is awesome. The greek pizza was our group's favorite, and Tom's Special was really good too. I just wish they had the Mexican pizza that they have at the Kirkland location. This is now my favorite pizza place in Seattle, and I eat a TON OF PIZZA! Pros: View of water Cons: Hard to find parking more

NY PIZZA SCHMIZZA 8/30/2002

Let's face it....you gotta go to NYC to get it. Nobody and I mean nobody in Seattle, not Pagliacci or Piecoras can deliver, SO...WHY NOT go for the tastiest, best crust and sauce around? That distinction goes to Pegasus. What's also great about this greek-style pie is that it's light and fluffy...doesn't weigh you down with dripping oil and undercooked thin dough. My only complaint? They don't have a location in Seattle central. I hate having to drive to West Seattle...but it's still worth it. GO PEGASUS. Pros: great sauce, GREAT CRUST Cons: No location in Seattl more

Good pizza, GREAT VIEW! 8/24/2002

When I moved up to Seattle I was afraid that I would not find a pizza place like Casa Mia in Hoquiam, but Pegasus comes really close. The salads are excellent, the pizza is great, and the view is unreal. Definite 1st date place. more

Where's the Sauce? 8/16/2002

Pegasus Pizza's pizza is like eating cheese bread, without a doubt. When I used to go there, I would ask for extra sauce, and then it APPROACHED what most places give you normally. I give it credit for being different from other pizzas, but until they re-prioritize sauce in the pizza heirarchy, I will go to Second Ave. Pizza, Belltown Pizza, or even too-salty Pagliacci. Pegasus salads, on the other hand, are worth the trip. They are exceptional. Just don't go on sunny days or weekend evenings, as the locals clog this place mercilessly, confirming that West Seattle is lacking for decent places to eat. Pros: Great salads, Reasonable prices Cons: Bland pizza, Overcrowded/noisy more

Tom's the Bomb 8/13/2002

Pegasus Pizza on Alki - a great dining experience. They are well staffed and the pizza is always superb and consistent. If you haven't tried the Tom's Special, you're missing out!!! The view makes it even better. more

Shredded Pepperoni!!! 8/9/2002

Three things about this place rock my world: Feta Bread!! Pizza With Shredded Pepperoni and Sunflower Seed!!! It's 2 minutes from my office!!! If you haven't been here, you are missing out. Go NOW!! Get up, turn off your computer, and get some food!! Pros: Food Rocks!, Full Bar!, Delivery! Cons: Service Can Be Slow more

Incredible Pie 8/7/2002

I'm from Chicago and I know great pizza. Pegasus makes one of the very best, consistently delicious pie around. Get ""Dave's Special"" pizza for a remarkable experience. I love everything about these pies:crust, thickness, fresh ingredients, rich sauces, and the pepperoni is shredded and crisp on top! more

the best pizza 7/30/2002

Their ingredients are fresh, and it's cooked to perfection. I was seated promptly, and if you would like a view there is seating available outside. But it is usually busy so expect a croud. more

Greek Pizza for the Gods 7/26/2002

There's a bit of heaven in that crust - a great combination of crisp, chewy, & light yet full bodied. House/Tom's special the best. more

The Best 7/19/2002

We now live in Tacoma and have to travel up to Seattle for our Pegasus ""fix"". Worth the trip every time! more

Sunflower seeds are the key! 5/16/2002

The special with feta, shredded pepperoni (another key ingredient) and sunflower seeds- it doesn't get any better than that! The sauce is great, the crust chewy inside, crunchy outside. And service is always great. Grab a bit, have a beer, then walk it all of with a stroll along the water. What a perfect way to spend your Saturday afteroon. Pros: Shredded Pepperoni!, Fast Service Cons: Parking- or lack of, noisy more
