Pearl Place Women's Care

Pearl Place Women's Care is a wonderful office. I have 2 daughters that have both delivered babies with them and I as well receive gyn care there. Dr. Sanford is an OB doc, folks are going to get rescheduled. If you choose to go to PPWC then that is something one has to put up with. I strongly disagree with the gal who wrote a terrible review re Dr's staff. They are all very nice and helpful. (I rate this practice as highly recommended but for some reason the sliding bar wont stay at that recommendation) I give 5 stars! Dr. Sanford is a good doctor, but her practice stinks. My daughter treats with her for endometriosis. On three separate occasions, this office has called my daughter, short notice, to cancel her pre-op appointment...AFTER my daughter has taken time off work and is on her way. BUT, if you arrive 10 minutes late, they cancel your appointment and charge you. My daughter is now running a fever post-surgery; she called to make her post-surgery appointment, and the doctor is so booked that they will not schedule her for over a week. She complained and asked to speak with Sanford, but was told the doctor doesn't return calls. \r \r She seems to be a good doctor, but she is way overbooked, which leads to inadequate care. She may be good if you are pregnant, because she has lots of midwives, but DON""T see her for anything else!!!! Pros: good surgeon Cons: limited appointment times, rude staff more

I had my first baby recently and went to the Pearl Place Womens Care after a recomendation from a local pediatrician. The midwives were great. Really down to earth, caring and made my husband and I feel comfortable from the first visit on. \r \r I appreciated the kindness and wellrounded information they provided when it came close to giving birth. They had all types of different methods of pain relief (I went natural) and ways to help turn my breeched baby around. My birth was great and I thank them for their support.\r \r Pros: Great location, accepts variety of insurance coompanies, comfortable setting and staff. Cons: Only contracted with St. Josephs (if you're going for maternity care) more
