When lived in LA, I visited Dr. Khorrami several times during 2004 when I was experiencing unusual digestive symptoms. I was losing weight due to eating very little, which alarmed both him and me. He was patient, a good listener, and was very thorough in terms of performing all the needed tests (and then some) - which thankfully revealed that there was nothing wrong with me, medically. In fact, the symptoms eventually went away on their own, and I regained all my weight after I left California and moved back to Florida (i.e., into a less stressful environment).
I would definitely recommend Dr Khorrami as a gastroenterologist to anyone I knew of who was having GI problems.
Another thing that impressed me about him was his knowledge of nutrition, supplements, alternative health care, etc.
