Not half a good as other Patty's Egg Nest Restaurants 9/28/2008

I was a regular visitor to the Patty's Egg Nest in Crown Hill, Seattle and loved everything about the place. But, after moving to Everett and going to Patty's on Evergreen Way, I was very disappointed. The restaurant itself needs a good cleaning because it smells of grease. The swedish pancakes (my favorite in Seattle) were tough and tasted of grease. In addition, the Lynnwood restauant doesn't serve Devonshire cream with the pancakes as the Seattle restaurant does. I've been to the Everett restaurant several times, hoping that my experience was a one time thing, but this wasn't the case. Please, Patty's Egg Nest managerts, read this review and bring your Everett restaurant up to the standards of your other restaurants. more

Patty's Eggnest is really the nesting spot for many hungry for a great breakfast! 3/12/2008

Patty's Eggnest is a fantastic place for a great breakfast! You get large portions, good food, and a great ""diner"" experience, haha. It's a relaxed-feeling sort of atmosphere in here. If you're coming on the weekends, you should def be prepared for a wait to be seated, but it's worth the wait! From great chicken-fried steak, good eggs and hash, all the basics of a hearty breakfast are served up here and served up well! Pros: The food, the portions, Cons: Wait, parking gets tight just because it's busy! more

Great Breakfast! 11/12/2006

My husband and I went there yesterday for the first time, and we'll be going again and again. We were seated and served promptly. We both had different omelettes (he had the Louisiana and I had the Gyro) and they were sooo good. The portions are quite large, so we finished only 1/2. The waitress came over with styrofoam containers without us even asking for them. The coffee was refilled regularly. Good food and friendly staff. Decent prices. Couldn't have asked for more. Cons: Can be a little hard to find. It's down at the end of a strip mall row. more

Solid breakfast experience 10/16/2004

Visited around 2 pm Sunday and experienced no wait or problems with service. The breakfast food was great. Interior was functional and average and prices just a tad high for the area, but overall it was a good experience. I will definitely return. Pros: Food Cons: , Ambiance more

Good food, not so great service 7/28/2003

Went there on a Sunday. Line to be seated was out the door, but we were seated within 20 minutes. Proceeded to wait to be served. And wait. And wait. It looked as though servers were expected to cover the next table seated, even if it was across the room, rather than being assigned an area. Finally, someone came around with coffee, but he wasn't our server. Two and a half coffees later, the person filling our coffee (which was Boyd's, BTW) took our order without writing it down like we saw all the other servers doing. A minute later, our actual server hastily arrived, saying, ""He doesn't know what he's doing, I need your order again."" Food was good - the Gyro scramble was tasty, and my berries and pancakes with Devonshire cream didn't need butter or syrup to sweeten it any further. more

great place to get PO'd 10/19/2002

RE: Patty's Eggnest in Wallingford. The service was terrible. We stood at the sign saying ""Please wait to be seated"" for five minutes before one of the three women behind the counter decided to say hello to us. A few minutes later we were seated and given menus. About five minutes later we observed a waitress/hostess greeting her friends next to us and saying that things were starting to get busy (note: there were at least three empty and clean tables near us). Five minutes after that she came by to say Hi to them again. We had yet to receive water or coffee or a ""I'll be right with you."" This was place was so awful that we just got up to leave and not one person acknowledged us leaving. We spent around 20 minutes at this place and all we got was PO'd. What is with people?! Cons: Mean service, Bad service, Slow service more
