Does anyone remember going to the original Pat Mitchells and sitting enjoying your cone on the cemetery wall in Endicott on those hot summer nights? And how exciting was it when Pat got to serve Ronald Regan and other presidents Ice cream??..Well, the only place you can sit at this "new" Pat's is on a park bench outside the door-3 feet from exhaust filled Vestal Ave. Why spoil your sweet treat by having to hold your breath every time a car passes when you can head to beautiful MacArthur Park just a hop skip and a jump down the road. The ice cream is fair to good , but the smell of pine-sol will knock you flat when you walk in the door..I don't think this is presidential material anymore...the staff was young, and kind of rushed, the cone sizes weren't consistant and the Vanilla had ice crystals in it.
