Cruise down Shilshole towards Golden Gardens park and look for the pink shack on the right. This is Paseo, home of the most AMAZING sandwiches and other Cuban delights. Your Paseo sandwich can feature chicken, pork, scallops, prawns, tofu or the Cuban combo. The meats are marinated and the sandwiches are piled with thick cut marinated onions. If you like onions, these are the greatest things ever. If you DON'T like onions, be sure to order yours without because there are a LOT of them. The sandwiches are served on a crusty baguette with cilantro, romaine, pickled jalapenos and their special aioli. Soooo good! Check their website if you want to stop by in the winter, as they usually shut down for about a month or so in December/January. Sandwiches are around $7.50 (and are worth every penny), other entrees range from $8-12.
Pros: Sandwiches, service
Cons: Long lines on nice days, closes for winter break
