Pascucci Goleta: Creative Menu and Good Bread 3/10/2006

This Pascucci's has opened thanks to the Santa Barbara restaurants great success. The bread is DELICIOUS, the menu very creative, and the freshly squeezed juice wonderful!! It is not too expensive, although it is not too cheap either. The service I received was not very good. The waitress was running around as she was assigned way too many tables. She was, however, very nice and the bus boy was helping her out. Also, it gave me more time to eat that delicious bread. ;) The atmosphere is romantic and it is a known date place, although friends could easily be happy here. It is not geared for families. It is very accessible to the college students in IV or families in the Goleta area. Good Luck! more

reasonable prices and good food. 9/18/2005

Outside of downtown santa barbara this is the best food that someone in the IV/ellwood area can get. The place can get quite packed, and the waiting is not so efficient so I recommend going a little off peak. Service is good but maybe not as good as the one downtown. more

Not as good as the downtown location 7/29/2005

Pascucci recently opened a Goleta location of their extremely popular Italian restaurant. The menu is the same but the quality is much lower at the new location. Maybe they just need more time to settle into things. One of my appetizers was burned and the waiters didn’t seem to know what was going on at all. The wait was surprisingly long considering the huge dining area and the slightly sub-par quality of food. Maybe it will get better over time. more

Pascucci has one of the best Italian food in Santa Barbara. All of the food and produce are locally bought, including the pasta, thus giving the dishes a fresh and delicious taste. The service is great and the interior is very nice and spacious. Food is priced at a very affordable value, I would even dare say it is a steal. The only complaint would be that the complimentary bread is not as good as other Italian restaurants in the area. The interior is much better here compared to the one located in downtown Santa Barbara, prices are a bit cheaper to for lunch. more
