Parkridge Place

We moved here to save money for a house. It looked good on the surface. How wrong we were. This place is the worst in Dallas and I have lived in just about 12 apartment complexes here. Our air conditioner has broken 5 times in the last 2 months. No one in the office is helpful or even knows what they're doing. The maintenence crew is the worst and is seldom willing to go out of their way to fix what you need. DO NOT MOVE TO PARKRIDGE PLACE APARTMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would NOT recomend moving in to Parkridge apartments! My family and I were regreting signing the lease ONE week after we moved in. The school is great the area is wonderful but not these apartments!!!You can literally hear everything that goes on around you. From the neighbors loud music, loud game playing, loud gatherings and loud conversations from downstairs to the the smell of spices and food from the next door neighbors and the footsteps of the neighbors upstairs. The walls are THIN. The new managements ATTEMPT to renew this place is respected,BUT anytime the workers(painters, lawn mowers..ect) work on the place they never let the renter/person know that they will work in your area. So far my balcony belongings have been moved twice without any one letting me know the workers were coming to move them. When they mown the lawn they have another person blowing away the leaves and somehow my car always ends up messy and scratched. The office staff is incosiderate and unprofessional. My lease is coming up for renewal and I received a etter from them stating that if i want to continue leasing with them my rent will stay the same but if i choose not to ,my rent will increase to more than $120 per month! I cannot stand anything about this place... new management or not. They can and will try to renovate and improve the place but without tearing this place down and starting new its just like putting earrings and lipstick on a pig, its just like adding paint on a broken car, its like .....you get the point. Keep looking elsewhere before you settle on this place. I live here now and regret signing the lease. The ""new"" management staff is horrible; they are rude, inconsiderate and flat out unprofessional. They ""upgrades"" they are making are pathetic. The maintenance crew and the contractors doing various work have absolutely no respect for your property. I'm breaking my lease and paying the fee to get out.
