Loyal patron since 2003 I have completely enjoyed Parisian Salon & Day Spa including hair services, manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing and make-up and have always found the staff to be professional, courteous, and polite with a close attention to detail. I got a gift card here from my now husband. It was for an entire treatment day in which I added my wedding trials to. So I had a facial, massage, manicure, pedicure, and a practice as to what my makeup and hair would be for my wedding. When I got there the waiting area was packed with people that had no where to sit. The receptionists did not even offer me a robe. I just sat there. The massage was not anything to brag about & I get massages regularly. The facial was okay. The manicure and pedicure was good however, the tiny room was packed with customers and workers. It was nothing less than aggrivating rather than relaxing. Then onto my hair and makeup - the stylist charged me extra for a practice run that was loose, not at all what I was looking for, and not modern. It was all curled and pinned up at the top of my head when I brought in a picture of a sleek low and simple do. She told me it wasn't for my face or head or hair. Whatever - so onto the makeup. I am very picky about my makeup. The girl who did it was young and too funky for my liking. Four letter words coming out of her mouth and talking to other workers about how she got "trashed" the previous night and almost didn't make it into work. I thought to myself "WOW! what if she didn't make it in for my wedding day?" - They use Bare Minerals which I love. But, again, not at all what I asked for. She caked my face. I asked her to lighten up my eyes and every time she attempted to do so it was just awful. I asked to wash my face and start all over again (mind you this is my practice for my wedding) and she seemed annoyed with me! Then proceeded to tell me that there would be an additional charge. So I opted out. Finally I went to leave and they charged me and extra $120 - I had a gift card in which included a haircut. Shouldn't they have subsituted the awful hair updo?? None-the-less I did NOT book my wedding day with them. And I suggest you NEVER go here! It really was an awful experience. One of the worst haircut experiences I've EVER had. If you are like me, and treat yourself to a haircut every once in a blue moon, and STILL feel guilty when you spend the money -- DON'T waste your money here. I waited 45 minutes before I was seen for my appointment. No one ever told me why there was a wait or offered me any "complimentary" beverages. I got up to reschedule when the stylist finally came to get me. She didn't introduce herself to me, let alone apologize for the wait. She rushed me through a shampoo and choppy haircut. She didn't offer any deduction in price for my voiced disappointment either. I even complained to the management, which was less than useless. The manager belittled my expression of disappointment, placed blame on me! Needless to say, she didn't offer any compensation on a future visit, which there won't be any of. So much for the customer always being right! Majorly upsetting and MAJOR disappointment. I, as most of y'all work too hard for my money to be treated so poorly. more

I have been to Parisian twice,only because I had a gift card. It was a while ago,so I don't know if much has changed.The manicure/pedicure was fine,except it was freezing in the pedicure room,and I wasn't offered a towel or anything to keep warm.I returned for a facial She seemed nice enough,but I wondered why as soon I was on the facial bed,she grabbed her purse and brought it outside with her...anyway,she did not anallyze my skin,or ask what my concerns are.Explained things to me in medicalese(adipose tissue etc..)I knew what she was talking about,so I wasn't impressed.,blah,blah,blah .Slapped some product on my face and left me alone for along time,sweating because she did not mention the heating pad was on high.
