Parisa's Restaurant

Seems like no one has reviewed Parisa's in a long time. I loved this place the first time I went there. After tonight, I am revolted. Everything was bad. The bread was stale, the meat tasted so wrong that we couldn't swallow it and the other entree was swimming in oil. On a positive note, our waiter was extremely nice. more

Parisa's is a joy, and an asset to the Woodbine community. You might never find it unless you already know about it, their signage is terribly small... but from the moment you walk in, wow! more

I meant to write this a few weeks ago after our first visit to this fine restaurant and find myself wanting to write as we plan our second visit. The food here is prepared with the care and time necessary to make it delicious. We came on a Saturday night and found a small crowd - those in the know come on Fridays for bellydancing and festivities, in addition to fine food. We were warmly welcomed, and were served olives, feta and fresh bread as a starter. I cannot remember our main courses, but I can tell you I'm a picky eater and loved every bite of my dinner. Prices are reasonable, as well. This is a place to come with kids and/or friends. We loved it! At the moment you walk into Parisa's, you'll stand in awe at the beautiful, bright painted murals, flowing fountain, canopies, and low lights. It's as though you walked into a palace court in Iran. The tables are covered with crisp white table clothes with candle centerpieces. The food is excellent filled with full flavored herbs and spices, cooked fresh when ordered. The menu is self explaining and the servers are very helpful if you have any additional questions or needs. My first visit I ordered cornish hen kabods that were deliscious, and the second time I tried dolmeh(grape leaves stuffed with vegetables and beef,) and kubidah (ground beef) with saffron rices and peppers, onions, and tomatoes. Pros: Great food, large potions, money's worth, wonderful ambience Cons: Outside of Parisa's alittle run down and parking is limited. more
