This is a great place to find an instrument or sheet music. I needed some Italian music for a vocal class. They had it!!! Honestly, I thought I would need to order it, and I was so excited. Their prices aren't too bad. You can find better and worse. It really beats the hassle of waiting time, etc. of ordering something through a catalog or website. I don't think there is a more comprehensive music store in Springfield. more

Huge selection 12/29/2005

Palen has a huge selection of musical instruments, sheet music, and music accessories. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also do many lessons on all different kinds of music and instrument repair. Kindermusik classses are offered for the preschool crowd! Palen offers a payment plan for buying instruments, and also a rental plan. This is a great spot for any musician or wannabe! more

Music Shop 9/26/2005

Palen music center is a great place to purchase instruments. This shop offers a wide variety of instruments that one can buy, from wind to brass to strings. Since it is locally owned, the service is great. The owners are very willing to help you in your decision by letting you try the intrument. I have bought a french horn from there and it has great quality. I was very happy with my product. more

This store is great for those who are looking for variety in musical instruments. Great for families who have kids that are into different instruments. Or just a great place to find something new for yourself to learn! There is a wide selection to choose from. They also offer lessons and support so you are not on your own once you leave the store. Great place to get started with your music interest! more
